That's exactly what I have to use after the pass thru a tea strainer, not building up my hopes tho will see.

You'll be fine:-I've only used coffee filters (sometimes used some muji, or a piece of 5micron filter felt in a syringe afterwards..) for the last 2 years.
I keep meaning to get hold of some lab filter paper but......

I was talking coffee with MarkSe at the LDN meet last weekend and he told me about the AeroPress coffee maker, no heat etc, a lot like a cross between a French press (cafetiere) and a syringe, you can use paper or ss mesh filters and I thought at £25 it may be worth a try for you guys. Cream Supplies had them quite cheap and they do cheap mixing cylinders while you are there. Obviously there are no e-liquid videos, but this should let you see how it works.

Ah, so that's what they look like!
One of Our cousins over the pond at ECF (where the diy-NET-ers have taken it to another level, using heated ethanol etc.....) was espousing use of an AeroPress a while back.
If I was having to squeeze out the tincture from a lot of 'baccy, I'd seriously think about one of these, but using 5g. pipe 'baccy samples, the amount of resultant liquid is too small really.
...Esp. now that I can't buy bigger amounts of Wholeleaf...
