Ebay is one of the biggest sites on the web so it must bring a lot of traffic here - yet the membership is less than 200 which is a great shame ....... small and cosy is cool, but I'm sure your original intention was to to raise awareness far and wide and help as many people as possible ??

We had to abandon the eBay group as I received an email from eBay's UK community manager saying that unless I removed all links to e-cig/e-juice sellers, my e-cig group would be closed.

Added to that, it is against eBay's rules to mention any banned products on any of their community boards. So any threads started asking about e-cigs are either removed by James, the community manager when he is around, or by Livelworld if someone hits the report button.

Does that rule also apply on Ebay's FHG board? Although that's probably for the chop as well, such a shame as I/we wouldn't have found you were it not for an Ebay thread.

Yes Perpy, the no mention of e-cigs or any other product banned by eBay rule, applies to the FHG & all boards. However, as neither James' frequents that board as much as Q&A plus most of the posters on there don't know that mentioning e-cigs is a reportable offence, the threads tend to stay longer.

FHG isn't for the chop, it's going to be a sub-board of the "eBay UK Café " board.

Ah, thanks for that info Chris - didn't know that ruling applied to FHG as I've seen numerous threads there discussing products that Ebay have banned the sale of.

Must confess I've not really bothered familiarizing myself with the new board changes - I'd probably come here to ask a question first as I think Q&A has become at times a very snippy forum.
