Want to win yourself 150ml of e-liquid? Then read on:I am pleased to announce that a new e-cigarette forum aimed at the UK audience (although anyone can join) is now live. We have spent a couple of weeks tweaking the forum so that it is as user friendly as possible, and pleasing to the eye. Below are some of the features we have incorporated into the forum:Video chat room - Allows users to communicate via a video chat room, where they can enable their microphone and/or web cam or just chat regularly. Please note it is not mandatory to communicate in the chat room. eBay style trading feedback system - This feature lets you give and receive positive, neutral and negative feedback to other users as well as leave a comment and a note to an admin. This can only be used by regular members and not suppliers however. Please don't be put off by the advertisements - these are only visible by guests/unregistered, once you become a registered member you will no longer see these advertisements (registration is free). Once registered you will be able to reply to and start threads, as well as visit the video chat room, and leave users feedback. To celebrate our launch, we're running a competition to win 5 x 30ml bottles of e-liquid of your choice from the range available at www.cloud9vaping.co.ukSo, head on over there for your chance to win: www.e-cigforum.co.uk/news-information/34-win-150ml-e-liquid-your-choice.htmlLisa and Dan - Founders

Hi Lisa. Not sure if it's me but the first link in your post (to cloud 9) doesn't seem to work, the second one to the forum does. I can get there from my bookmark though. Apologies for mentioning it if it's just me.

Lisa, Inn is right, that first link doesn't work. I'll join your new forum later on today but can't promise to post on it that often. Too little time & too many forums

I'm glad it wasn't just me. Chrissie I'm not surprised you don't have much spare time, you do such a great job here not only giving information but worrying about everyone's problems and worries! No question ever goes unanswered. A lot of us would never have got this far without you.

What exactly is the point of starting a bajillion different forums ??
It's the same couple of dozen posters on every single one and eventually everything is repeated ad infinitum !!
Wouldn't it be wiser (and much better for Vaping) to have as few forums as possible to consolidate and centralise all the information ??
Not only would this make it vastly more convenient but it'd make it much easier for newbies to get involved and stop them getting confused and/or overwhelmed ....... it also prevents membership being "diluted" so creating a few large and very active forums instead of many small and very quiet ones .......
???

Perfectionist: Personally I find sellers' forums to be very useful if I need quick answers/opinions on products from their sites. I don't find there are that many good independent sites that are UK orientated so really don't see a problem at present. You're correct that many sites produce repetitive posts but I don't see that as a problem either as the more information available the better. Not all sites are intended to be used by activists; this one for instance is purely for information and shared opinions and experiences. Fox

This forum was created when eBay banned the posting of links to e-cig suppliers' sites - we had a "little" (+/- 600 members) group there, mainly comprising members referred by posts in the eBay Community Boards. Even now, many of our newbies find us via short-lived threads on eBay Community Q&A forum We find that newbies (and some suppliers like James) like our un-argumentative and intimate style. scylla

I think all the available forums have a different slant and features that are unique to each of them. Rather than confuse newbies, I think the choice of smaller forums makes it more likely that they will get their questions answered satisfactorily as topics easily get lost quickly on the busier forums. This forum in particular, as Scylla has said, has a very relaxed and intimate style, others may differ. P.S. I must point out that although I am heavily involved with it, www.e-cigforum.co.uk is not technically a "vendor's" forum in the same way as say, TW's or LF's. Membership is open to all vendors who meet the criteria, and any vendor's products may be discussed anywhere within the forum.
