i use vinegar to clean my windows as its great and evaporate and doesnt make me sneeze like mr muscle style sprays.
so ive got a few empty bottles and nothing big enough to mix with. now i thought if theres any vinegar in my mix it would be really toxic but everything i read about cleaning old bottles says to use lemon or vinger to clean them so in theory what ever vinegar left in bottle should have cleaned it already.
so i goggled ejuice and vinegar and theres people saying they add vinegar to thir ejuice mixes and it helps vg to not gunk up so quickly or they use it instead of vodla to clean coils.
so my question is does anyone kow if its actually safe to use old vinegar bottles(ive rinsed them with soapy water)?

I have used glass ones, but leave them for about a month with just water in after cleaning as sometimes some aroma is left over and that's just distilled vinegar I imagine malt would be even harder to get clear of aroma.

the aroma of vinegar isnt somthing i particularly enjoy but as long as its safe to vape thats my main concern.
i just mix up in an old nicotine bottle and juice went cloudy/creamy but hasnt settled after a couple of hours so not going to vape that.

As you have washed and rinsed the bottles you are not likely to be vaping any trace of vinegar, so I don't see a problem. You mentioned you had used soapy liquid. If any residue of that was left I would say that was worse than vinegar. Vinegar is only a slightly acidic liquid, and is unlikely to have any trace of acetobacter bacteria as it will have been killed off prior to sale. Let's face it we eat vinegar on fish and chips and add it to cooking all the time. I would use bicarb to clean the bottles rather than detergent, but if you have rinsed well you should be fine.

thanks for the input
seems vinegar is the gift that keeps giving , not only does it clean windows unblock sink and even clean grimy ovens and after that i get a posh mixing bottle but apparently it can help fruit flavours pop and baccys steep(apple cider vin)

Useful stuff is vinegar, I always use it for window cleaning - hugely better than any of the propriety gear on the market, at a fraction of the cost! I also like it on me chips.

Which vinegar and what dilution rate do you use Mandy? Jim Cider vinegar is my weapon of choice Jim, not as harsh as malt either in taste or smell!. I measure very little in all honesty . . . . . so it's a case of just chucking a good dollop into my bucket. Probably around a shot glass worth into half a bucket of warm water I'd guesstimate - used in conjunction with a chammy leather, smeary windows stand no chance! Perpetua - Would vinegar be suitable for cleaning DIY syringes or needles? I wouldn't ghostrider1971 . . . . as you're likely to taint them, especially with plastic syringes I'd think where the acid in vinegar could do more harm than good. A soak in a gentle solution of Bicarbonate of Soda would be a better option as it's tasteless, or vodka even - though I think that's better kept for drinking!
