I had a brilliant postie until a year ago, who would hold on to my parcels without putting the dreaded red card through the door, until he had finished his round completely, cos he knew that with my job I popped home during the day and he was likely to catch me at some point
Sadly, he retired . They don't seem to make them like that any more . Good service is such a rare thing these days, eh >

I just find that been kind and social in makes things a whole lot better in life I really believe in Karma lol as for the PO they could do with a lot more posties like Danny he goes above and beyond his post duties to keep people happy credit where credits due

My letterbox is at the bottom of my front door and when my cat hear's mail coming through it he has a tendancy to try and scratch the postie;s hand .He has suceeded a few times and the postie calls him the cat from hell just as well for me that she still delivers my mail

My postie is great, if I'm out he will leave any packages/parcels in my leccy cupboard and put a note through the door to let me know....... of if it has to be signed for he will call at my neighbour's, who is very trustworthy to get a signature and then put it in the cupboard

Round here it's a bit Royal Fail unfortunately. They prefill those red cards before they go out, saying that, when they do bother to do a round (and it aint every day) the nice lady usually gives me all the signed for parcels for our entire street....... the joys of working from home.......

I've trained most of the postmen that we have, to sign for our signature needed post and leave it in the front porch.
Most of them are great.

I did have a problem with cards being posted for parcels by parcelforce, without even ringing the bell, so I complained twice and it doesn't happen now

Aargh ! . . . My saga of woe continues.

So to recap, I ordered some bits and pieces from Cloud9Vaping and as we all know Lisa is quick to get stuff dispatched and indeed it was dispatched friday by first class signed for as Lisa always does.

Saturday morning the letterbox rattles whilst I am in bed, twenty minutes later I get to the post and discover the red card denoting my postie is a twat since he didn't ring the bell to get me to sign for my package.

Monday 1530, I arrive at the sorting office, red card and ID handed over. The worker goes off in the back for 5 minutes.
I am then told the pouch containing my parcel is not back at the office yet so do I want to arrange for it to be redelivered tomorrow !
Bloody right I do since I wasted time walking out to the sorting office.

If it does not come tomorrow you may have a news story of a massacre at a scottish sorting office.
