No, I sold all the mods I had that did TC with SS. That's what prompted me to try and use up this wire. I originally bought it to try TC on a Nextiny

I'm curious though

Ive got 6 wraps at 2.5ish inner dia.
Comes out at around .3ohms for a single.

I'm planning on duals on 3mm id but as it's ss it sparks into life quite rapidly. So I'm thinking all good if I get a bit low on ohms at 100w

Thats what i could never get right with claptons they took forever to warm up on a mech.
The SS trist single performs as good as my other fave build of a dual NI80 at .2 and is just as tasty.
Your in for a treat with duals no doubt.

I've found I can get away with an extra wrap, or two. They still ramp up quickly. All extra surface area. They need a good glow and pinch to get the hot spots out...

These are coming in at .23 for a pair on a Velocity. Best vape I've ever had on the Velocity. I'm using them at 40watt, or putting them on a MOSFET parallel LiPo. I'd kind of given up on high wattage vaping, didn't really get it. These have changed my mind.

Yeah I know it's not high. I always seem to use half the wattage other people do. I like a cool, dense, restricted vape...

Triple twisted has been my go to build for almost year, I find 0.2 with 2 or 2.5 ID best with 100% PG, flavour goes off with 3 mm ID, Ni has the edge on SS slightly for me, both excellent though. I did a comparison in the SteamEnging guide on ideal heat vs number of twists and you get a good bump form 1 - 2 & 2 -3, but 4 strands doesn't offer much more.

So to sum up these a 9 wrap 2.5 mm coil will work well at x watts
single strand 0.4 mm 25 W
2 twisted strands of 0.30 mm 42 W
3 twisted strands of 0.25 mm 50 W
4 twisted strands of 0.20 mm 52 W

I think I am still using that coil from March, they only go if the screws cut them.

0.2 mm very very good, a bit springy to build with Ni is far nicer to work with, 0.25 mm not quite as good and too springy for my level of patience to deal with often, not gone any thicker.  

Though with 0.2 watch out for sharp edges on coil connections and screws they can cut the wire, easily fixed with a diamond burr and stone or sand paper.  With the grub screws I cut a straight bit of allen key, put it in a drill, put the grub screw on that and run it against a diamond flat stone, fine abrasive paper will work just as well.  With the Aromanizer posts I grind down the edges where the screw can guillotine it.

I've ordered 0.3 ss so I'll give tc a whirl although I don't hold much hope tbh.
