Hi guys, Almost a mini survey I've been using the 5 ml Nautilus for a while was just curious how you others "use" them? 1) Usual PG/VG juice ratio? 2) Usual coil ohms? 3) Airflow setting (1-4)? 4) Usual wattage? Would be very interested in any feedback as I tend to use the widest airflow setting and 70/30 PG DIY juice. Wattage I keep playing about with...badly

thebishman - Cheers Can I ask, how quickly do you work up to 14w? I'm using the same coils but tend to use them much lower

For me . . . . . using the Nautilus coils in 3 different tanks that take them: 1) Usual PG/VG juice ratio? - Yes, always VG heavy. 2) Usual coil ohms? - 1.8ohms normally. 3) Airflow setting (1-4)? - Widest setting. 4) Usual wattage? - I always start low, around the 9-10watt mark, then gradually as the coils ' run in ' increase this over several tank fulls. The current coil I'm using is now at 15watts. That's what suits me anyway ghostrider1971.

Perpetua - Thank you I'm sure I've read on many other threads that peeps were using them at 5-6w - I certainly find the flavour much better much higher

1) 40pg/60vg 6mg 2) 1.6ohm 3) hole 3 occasionally 4 when I find a dodgy base that doesn't line up properly 4) 7-9w never higher usually but then I only use the stock coils in one tank and that's my driving tank with RA mixes in it which I find harsh any higher

Use it every day.
1) Usual PG/VG juice ratio? - Usually 50/50 VG/PG at 6mg 2) Usual coil ohms? - 1.8 ohm 3) Airflow setting (1-4)? - varies but mainly 2 or 3 4) Usual wattage? - 8 or 9 W moving up to 10/11 W as the coil gets older

I've been using the Nautilus 5ml tank for a couple of years now. I've tried it at 70/30, 50/50 and I am now on 75/25. The 70/30 was okay, for me and I was on that for about 10 months. I then went 50/50 for about 6 months but found that the coils were not lasting more than about 2 weeks. I am now on 75/25 and the coils are lasting 3+ weeks. I'm using 1.8ohm coils at the moment. I vape on the largest hole. I always start a coil on the lowest wattage setting and keep it there until the coil starts to get bunged up. Usually until the tank starts to gurgle which is within its last few days. I will only then start to up the wattage, usually in increments of 5W until I am up about 12W. After that I bin that coil and start a new one.
I have 4 tanks on the go just now. The main one has a Tobacco flavour in it and is my all day vape. My other tanks which are only used occasionally have Menthol/Mint, Pineapple and Chocolate Limes in them.
I do all my vaping on I-stick 20W's and all my juice is 24mg.

Hi ghostrider1971 I am sure you have your own reasons for choosing the 5ml Nautilus, but my reasons are that the 5ml Nautilus will give me about 24 hours of vaping without having to refill it. The same goes for my I-stick 20W, in that one overnight charge and it will run for 22 hours. However I do refill the Nautilus and put the I-stick on charge and reassemble them every night so that they are ready in the morning to just pick up and go. I have had my time with other set ups of having to carry spare juice and batteries, but with the 5ml Nautilus and the I-stick 20w, these complications are old hat and belong in a museum. Once you have a set up that suits you, stick with it.

Not for me, but my good lady (that i maintain as she's not interested as long as it works lol) I've a dog sitting/vaping friend just like that who I do/buy everything for ( short of vaping the devices ) as a sort of ' payment ' for the doggy services . . . . . a vaper for 5+years now I might add. The other day I got a text with some ground breaking news - they'd managed to fill a Protank up unassisted apparently, turned out despite my showing on numerous occasions - that the eliquid had just been poured down the drip tip. Had to laugh when I saw the resulting mess!
