Fingers crossed I get lucky. My $20 'replacement electronic parts' that really isn't a $99 bronze Rolo, honest, arrived in the UK overnight. Oh well, better to pay the fee for $20 than 99! for you, btw with cashback could have got for £95.83 in the UK, about the same if you get hit, makes you think that FT etc are operating on far larger margins than we assumed as the UK business have to pay VAT and Import Duty. Another one: VapeDroid C2D1 cremedevape £139.95, £118.96 with 15% code NEWGEAR2017 FT & GB £135.38

I tend not to use China unless it's low value stuff. Ok some items are slightly cheaper, but the wait and what happens if it goes wrong puts me off. Maybe. Not looking to gloat, but I just got something today which cost me £31.00 It was £49.99 all over the UK. Today, it's about £44 if you look. For me, it's worth the risk, but I take your point. From the sounds of it, things are only going to get worse... grim...

I received a lipo yesterday for a Hcigar VT200 and it's the first time i have seen this yellow sticker on the package and saying it does not meet rule 18 and some other of the EU regulation, i am guessing it's either TPD related or because it's Chinese made and entering the EU. I agree with what your saying VapingBad with the likes of DNA based mods, it really is getting close to be not worth bothering ordering these from FT or elsewhere in China. A prime example recently was Ecig one were selling the Hcigar Vt133 for £61 not so long ago, Next day delivery and UK support if required. You couldn't get one for less than £76 from China at the time, basically a DNA200 in a mod for the retail cost of the board. How long did it take to come (via Sweden??), just had to order one myself

If I didn't have a huge amount of Gift Certificates I've accrued by being sent an endless supply of broken mods I've had to return I'd be dubious about shopping with FT but until I've spent these bazillion dollars I'm stuck using 'em

Yes just when you think we've seen the worst of it, what was labours song Things can only get better, we are a load of shmucks really listening to any of them

Maybe now I'm going to split up my orders, to ensure it stays below £15 if I can. HMRC were always onto USA imports, but seemed to ignore Chinese stuff. Maybe they have changed tactic. Or the guy was having a slow day after the Xmas rush and was bored.

True, but at least we don't get hit by the extra charges, even if it comes slow boat. Although you don't get much for under $17 these days.

Bugger I'm waiting on an Ipower that I ordered with the new year discount and an Isub tank & spare coils I did split them into 2 orders as I figured the ipower would take longer being a battery, in the event however the Isub went to restocking and ended up shipping 5 days after the Ipower. The Isub order came to $26.64 & I paid extra for the epacket option and the Ipower $26.44 via Singapore post. Both fingers and toes crossed here hoping they make it through OK.

Maybe you can request a comment to go on outside of the package. Item = Urogenital treatment tools. Value = "are you taking the pi**?"

I was carded this morning, £11.23 customs payment due (this includes an £8 handling fee)
It's the handling fee that I really object to, £8 to collect £3.23 nice business if you're con artists.
That is for a Dripbox2 and some subtank coils
