Hi all I have recently bought some concentrates from Vapours-r-us - Red Stairs and BlackJack. Has anyone used these, and if so, what percentages did you use to mix with? I'm tempted to go in at around 12% and see how they work at that level unless someone has advice to the contrary Your feedback would be most appreciated Andy B

Thanks Perpetua, I have mixed them both at 20%, although judging by the comments, the Blackjack may be a lost cause before it even steeps. You never know, they may have changed their ingredients since some of those posts were made (am I clutching at straws here!?)

The blackjack is fine but it does benefit from 1% sweetener adding to the 20% concentrate, I use stevia but guess any will help

I vape the red stairs regularly and find 15% to be the sweet spot. It's a very nice flavour to be honest. I don't bother buying red astaire anymore since trying it

I don't bother buying red astaire anymore since trying it I mixed some Red Stairs up on Friday at 20%, and whilst it is strong for me, the OH will probably think it's too heavy-duty. I'll be mixing at 15% next time!

Update: The OH likes the Blackjack mixed at 20%, although in the interests of economy I have also mixed up some at 16% to see if she notices the difference! I have some Red Stairs in my Eagle/Alien combo and at 16% it is really tasty, although to me missing the fruity element of Red Astair, and maybe a bit too much menthol. Either way, it is a pleasant vape, and I will certainly be mixing up some more at the weekend!

Just bought some concentrates from vapours-r-us myself as a cost saver vs my Vampire Vapes Addiction. Due to my mixing methodology (KISS) I start with 125ml of VG - for the flavours I bought in 30ml quantity I piled the whole lot in and added 6ml of nic. Coming out at 18.6% flavour, this is perfect in the Red Stairs, a little strong in the Peanut Butter and perhaps a tiny bit weak in the Passion Fruit.
For those flavours I bought in bigger volume - Pinkman, Heisenblag and Vanilla Custard I added 25ml to the 125ml base + 6ml nic coming out at 16% flavour and tbh for me they are a little weak and need adjusting.
FYI I added 1% Koolada to the Heisenblag on a tipoff and it needs at least that much. Once I up the flavour % I may increase this too.
The Pinkman seems a pretty good reproduction as is but the Vanilla Custard needs help. I'm thinking Dulce de Leche and French Vanilla Deluxe from FA but I'd love to hear any other suggestions.

DDL in very low percentages 1 -2%, FVD ( still my favourite vanilla flavour ) around 4% is good for me muckyboy. Or there's Egg Nog, either from Capella or CCW . . . . I really like CCW's in a custard mix, as it adds a lovely creamy element ( for me ). Even DV's Creme Anglaise - although that I tend to use in a blend now.
