I wanted to pop in and sort of 'finish' the thread (what, you thought it was all ready? lol).

In the end I just wasn't getting on with the Plato as well as I was the Pico so I ordered another Pico and NautX set-up with the 4ml tank adapter and will be selling the Plato. Pico/NautX 4ml and I, well, we just get on! . After the steady filling of cartos, only having to fill twice a day and one battery change is a joy. I think I may get another complete set-up to just put away as spare. Here's hoping these bits serve me for years to come, I got there in the end but it was quite traumatic!
