Obviously Shrewsbury is fairly local to me - its only 1 and a half hours and is a decent route so I drive as I've got all my camping gear!

I don't drive enough to be confident with a journey out of my comfort zone nowadays Pep, so it's better for all concerned if I don't.

Haven't been on a train in years, the last time was to an early Vapefest at Tamworth . . . . . back in the days when it was a small(ish) event!

I guess it was, in relation to the popularity/publicity then . . . . . compared to the size and people that attend now, not so much!

Had planned to attend, room booked for Friday and Saturday, but unfortunately the woman who was going to pop in to do mum's tea is now babysitting all weekend and as other members of my family are reluctant to lift a finger to help I have cancelled.

Oh how blooming frustrating Vlad! that's not on if family cant fill in on one occasion you must be dissapointed, it doesnt seem very fair of family not to step up on one occasion?

I too have to see to my mother in law and my godfather at weekends, so I know how tiring and limiting it is. I've got my M-I-L for 9 days starting vapefest weekend as her carer is on holiday but I'm asking my husband to go as I'll need the break for the sake of my sanity! Two 15 mile round trips twice daily to give her meals in bed And now my godfathers due home next week too and he's going to be housebound
