I see a previous thread on this - one recipe I've seen is: PG 25% Bavarian Cream 45% Coconut Extra 20% Sweet Cream 10% All TPA Another variation (that gets very good reviews) is here: linkHeard it described as a cream base to be used at around 15% alone or in mixes, some seem to use as low as 2% - am curious, and wondered if anyone has tried it, and what in. Does it give everything a coconut flavour, or is the coconut just a background note? If people on here think well of it, might give it a try!

No vg or nic? Them percentages look a little strange to me If the pg wasn't there I would think that would be just the flavour base, but maybe it is and you need to add vg and nic

I've mixed this one of Claire's: Lairey's Milkstone 5% Bavarian Cream 3% Coconut Extra 4% French Vanilla Deluxe 5% Sweet Cream 5% Toasted Marshmallow 2% Fresh Cream Coconut was a subtle background flavour for my tastes, as a ' standalone ' it was a little light on flavour ( for me ) but it did make a very nice base to work with. Think I added a dash of Tiramisu IIRC.

Hi jtc - this is a flavour concentrate base mix, not a juice mix! This looks nice Perpetua, this might suit my tastes more, not that I don't like coconut - just that I don't want it in a whole lot of mixes!

I've got a few different 'stone' bases saved in my recipes but never got around to making them! I think a lot of them were created before there was as much choice/variation of concentrates available. These days it seems new versions of everything are being developed and released really frequently. I like a coconut note in a mix - but I find coconut extra very strong (although I would never be without it in my stash). FW's Creamy Coconut I reckon is pretty much the taste you would get from the above 'milkstone'. It's very creamy with a hint of coconut

I like coconut for a change beedee, although used with a light touch as it can be a bit overpowering ( even for my tastes! ) and add a bit of a ' dry ' feel if it's too intense. Flavour Junkie used to have a lovely Coconut Biscuit which I regularly used instead of a straight coconut in mixes, alas it seems to be no more now. Probably not too difficult to recreate, if I ever get round to it!

I agree Perpetua, coconut can be a bit much - I have a nice Liquid Barn Coconut Milk which I may use for this - but would try at a very low %, I tried it @ 4% as a tester and even then it was a bit strong for me. I also have the CW Coconut, which I found so awful as a tester even I could not get through a tank of it! spacey - the explanation of how this sort of concentrate mix came about makes sense - I've seen Fruitstone and Nutstone somewhere. I like the sound of the FW Creamy Coconut - damn - another flavour to buy... I quite like the idea of having a ready made creamy 'base' I know I like to test out new flavours in, as well as doing a one shot test.

Surely it would only dilute the concentrate(s) flavours? Couldn't that be done in the mix %

Couldn't that be done in the mix % I thought that at first, dagl , but realised it could make sense if it's going to be used at really small %, or for mixing tiny amounts as testers, depends on how strong it is without the PG, I suppose. You could just mix it without the PG, too, though.
