Sounds like you're topping up fine although I find it much easier with this as you can poke it right into the wadding www.cig-eliquid.co.uk/spiky_thing_basic/p649230_5247562.aspxyou can just mix juice in your carto but it could end up tasting a bit doggy. I prefer to use a different carto for different flavours. If you keep the end caps you can pop them back onto the carto and pop the carto and the juice bottle together in a small zip lock bag for when you want to go back to that flavour What kind of drip tip did you buy? Why can't you use it? How long do cartos last, good question! You should be able to easily get 10mls of juice through 1 so depending on your juice consumption about 3 days or so. Many people do seem to be able to get them to last much longer and go to all sorts of lengths to clean and revive them Cheapest place for cartos is china but all the recommended vendors on here sell them, don't forget to check for dissie codes before you order

Thanks Karma, it's just a standard drip tip but I don't have a atomizer What I thought was a atomizer in my kit was just a cone LOL. Thanks for the link, I need to put a shopping list together

Ok, i've gone back through this thread and I think you have cartomisers?!
If so, once you take the little white stopper out of the top to re-fill them the drip tip should fit.

Karma is right Frosty If you have a standard 510 drip tip, you can use it on your cartomisers - far more comfortable on the lips then dragging on a hot cartomiser

I am so confused, I thought drip tips were mainly for use with atomizers. Can you top up through the drip tip? Does the juice not go through the middle hole in the cartomiser?

You can top up an atomiser through a drip tip but it's best to take the drip tip off a cartomizer when you top up. It's easier to take the drip tip off every time you top up than taking the white bung off plus drip tips feel nicer in your mouth than the end of a carto, which sometimes can get quite hot

So pleased you get it now frosty! When I came across my first drip tip and carto I couldn't work out why it didn't fit, nobody had told me to take the white bung out first :-[ Keep asking questions, we have all been and sometime continue to be totally bemused at this vaping lark

Thanks again karma, I might be a bit mad but I think I am getting more flavour using the drip tip.
Can I ask what a clearo is?

Can I ask what a clearo is? It's an abbreviation for clearomizer, but there are loads of different kinds i'll leave it to someone else to provide a better answer than me ??? Hope you are enjoying your vaping a bit more frosty now you are getting over the teething stage

Glad to hear you are getting on well motormad - excellent tutorial from karma! Standard clearomisers are good when they work but can be a bit frustrating. If you want to try something else I would go for an eGo vision/ AKA stardust/ AKA VH star - very simple to fill and pretty reliable.

TBH Frosty, get a good handle on the kit you have at the moment before you start spending on other things

Apologies Frosty, sometime, no matter how hard we try, we forget to mention the absolute basics. In many ways, it's like trying to explain to someone how to ride a bike - ie, it's easy once you have mastered it
