Hi people, new member here looking for advice I dipped my toe into the world of vaping about a year ago with a little 501 pen type ecig but never really committed fully hence when back to the analogues. My question is would this - dx.com/egot-quit-smoking-usb-rechargeable-electronic-cigarettes-w-5-refills-pair-mb-flavor-111509 be "good enough" to get me off the fags? I know it's cheap and will take a few days to get here but it gets good reviews and I have enough duty frees to last 10 days. Another thing that I am a bit confuzzled about is cartomizers and attomizers, not sure what the difference is and the stardust things, what would be best to go with the above? The last thing, promise , is juice, has anyone gambled with cheap juice from paces like DX, there only about £2 for 10ml. Thanks again

Hi MMF
The delivery from there is supposed to be very long. An cartomiser is basically an atomiser with a built in cart (that holds the e-juice)
The stardust (aka vision ego) is a cartomiser (carto) with a built in liquid holder instead of holding the liquid in a suspension in a material as a cartomiser does.
You could get a couple of ego style batteries from a uk supplier for about the same price, not much more anyway and you could get a higher mAh battery. The higher it is, the longer it lasts.
I would try cartos and vision egos and see which you get on with better. I don't like atomisers myself, so wouldn't go for those.

Hello & welcome to the forum Frosty! Personally, I wouldn't buy that DX offer for your first foray into vaping . . . you're likely to have to wait weeks if not months, if it's an item coming from China . . . a battery order I placed with them took 3 months! If it's from their UK distribution unit then the wait wouldn't be so lengthy obviously . . . if. You'd do far better to buy from a UK Vendor, that includes juices for your first purchase . . . where you'll also get the Customer service. I'd also choose cartomiser's . . . they're considerably more straightforward to master in the early days.

Welcome MMF You have good advice from womble & perpy Just been looking for you and if you are just after a cheapish kit then how about this www.vapeescape.co.uk/510%2Dcarto%2Dkit%7E300 its got carto's with it............... all you would need to do is add some juice and a drip tip. Plus Jason is very helpful and will help with any queries you have. If you dont like that then please have a look in the suppliers section.......... most of them list their special offers on there. Added bonus............. there is a section for discount codes, cant remember them offhand but I think Jason's is "allabout", someone will correct me if I'm wrong

Hi and #welcome2# Many people have happily started vaping with this kit, if you aask at checkout Jason will swap the atomisers for cartomisers www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151You can also buy small sample juices from there Code 'allabout' 10% discount. Great customer service. This is also a good buy but seems to be oos at the moment vapourhut.com/e-cigarette%20kit?product_id=104you could always get in touch and ask if he could put something together for you Best to buy small bottles of juice at first, once you find something you like then it's usually better value to buy bigger bottles

Vapourhut will put the kit together for you, did for me after I asked when they'd be back in stock - at just under £25 after discount it was a good deal. Discount is hut10 I think - it's on the site anyway. The Vapeescape one was very tempting, but I'd already bought a starter kit and loads of juice so was starting to get expensive.

A massive thankyou for the warm welcome and sound advice, I will send vapourhut a message about the OOS kit. Should I be adding anything to the order to get me going? I understand that juice is a personal choice but should I stay away from any in particular? I am still in a daze about filling,I have done so much reading, I had to go for a smoke Hopefully all will become clear. Nice to see a member is my neighbor, where about are you Chrissie? P.S how do I get the "VAPING SINCE" thing on the bottom of my posts. Thanks again and sorry for all the Q's.
