Quick update - I am starting to miss my morning fag , I was in such a routine for years, cup of tea, get out of bed, go outside for a smoke then morning number 2. Now I am tempted to buy 10 analogues just so I can get my morning fix. Vaping, to me, is as much as a financial thing as a health thing. So, I have watched countless youtube vids where people are getting huge vapor but the costs involved in getting better kit are for me, too much. I convinced wifey (non smoker/vaper) that vaping would save us loads of cash but after scribbling on a bit of paper last night, I reckon I am massively out of pocket than if I stayed on the fags and I don't feel totally satisfied with the "kit" that I have got. Straying? maybe, I am waiting on a stardust from VH, hopefully that will keep me on the path.

What strength e-liquid are you vaping Frosty? You could try upping the strength first thing in the morning. You could also try using a low resistance cartomizer to give you more oomph! You could get a Lava Tube variable voltage kit or a big battery mod complete for around £50. Vaping is costly in the beginning until you get a kit and liquid that suit you. Once sorted you should be able to vape for around £10 per week! I'm sure the extra years that you will live by not smoking will be a good thing If you really feel that you need to have a proper ciggie first thing, then do so. Many people don't 100% switch to vaping straight away and still have the odd ciggie. count the cigs you don't smoke not the odd one that you do smoke

Was going to say more or less exactly the same as Karma Nothing to beat yourself up about if you have a real ciggie first thing in the morning.

Just another thought that may help you E-juice high in VG creates lots of vapour but has a very mild throat hit. You get a much better throat hit from juice heavy in PG! Throat hit was very important to me in the beginning

And I agree with Karma & Chrissie. So much of cigarette smoking is habit/routine . . . so you need to mimic that as much as possible, to feel that you are indeed still smoking. It does take a bit of time and experimentation to get that same feeling . . . and on a more earthy note, you my find it takes your ' bodily functions ' a little time to settle down MMF, as the chemicals in tobacco have a known muscle relaxant effect.

This happens, unfortunately, perhaps because we mostly rely on mail order (and trial and error) to find kit and juices that suit us. I'm still 'in the red' and probably will be for the next three months (if I don't buy any more shinies) but now I've got the hardware and flavours that really work for me, I'll be saving money every day for the rest of my life (which will probably be longer than expected now I've chucked the fags). Short term, there's a not insignificant capital outlay. Long term, I'll win and win big.

Holy moly, got a stardust thing from VH today, wow, I am officially hooked, done 1ml in a hour. Going to need more juice, much more. Had a ciggie this morning, didn't enjoy it

Great to hear Frosty Now get yourself a couple of spare Stardust/Visions, just in case! They should last 2 weeks + at least and if you're lucky, about a month so not a bad outlay. Just rinse them out under a hot tap (not boiling) when you can see the wicks going brown which is due to the juice caremalising on the wick. Remember you need spares, then spares for your spares! I have about 12 "in stock" just in case! It only took me a week to find that I could not stand the taste of nasties after taking up the E-Cigs.
