I noticed on another forum folk complaining about the Nicotine they recently purchased from Darkstar, when I checked the batch number with a recent 500ml bottle I bought they are the same batch. I decided to open it despite it coming in a 500ml Amber glass bottle and I have to say the smell coming from it is really bad, I have contacted Darkstar and await their reply.

Other  batches I purchased  ( 5ltrs) from them  are good, clear and no nasty smell, these were  1litre bottles which are all fine, there's just something not right with this recent purchase, probably worth checking your own.

I would say to anyone worried about their's if you rebottled  it on delivery for long term storage and failed to notice a strong pungent smell once the cap was removed I would think your fine. You cannot mistake the difference.

I bought some nic from Darrent about 4 months ago and that had a real strong odour, really strong like made me flinch when i opened it strong and was orange in colour.
I've been using it anway couldn't be bothered sending it back and it was only a 250ml bottle, i only mix at 3mg so it gets heavily diluted, can't say i've noticed it having any effect on the flavour or anything.

That's good to know thanks m8, we are only on 1mg now so even with this reeking stuff we probably wouldn't notice such a small amount, just more concerned about the smell, the Nic is still clear.

Can anyone confirm if its ONLY vg or pg?

Ill check my batch numbers today. All of my stash was bought in 4 x 250ml freezer bottle packs so i havent opened them

Just checked my stash of 8 x 250ml bottles (2 freezer packs). Sadly they are all from batch VG72067.

However I have used about 125ml from my stash and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it. Clear in colour and almost odourless.

I only mix at 1.5mg so like Get Off My Cloud pointed out I would struggled to taste it anyway!

Well just checked my last batch that i ordered about 2 months ago. Not got room in freezer so its not even been frozen yet... smelt each 250ml bottle and they are all fine. Just a slight peppery smell which i think is normal right?

just had a delivery today of 1lt batch no pg72067 opened it up and thank goodness no horrible smell

Sorry folks been away all day, glad everyone else seems OK, to be fair to Darkstar they have requested I return the bottle for them to check which is fair enough, they will cover postage costs so cannot fault them on that point; .only problem is I cannot send it for a week as I am visiting the grand kids.
