Lately I've had the same problem a couple of times in that my tank o-rings have become really stinky. This has been to the point that any juice I put in the tank tastes like crap. I wash my tanks regularly but I don't usually strip the glass out because I don't want to ruin the o-rings. That's happened in the past so I've been trying to preserve them . I do wash them with boiling water or in the ultrasonic though. Well I'm so surprised the o-rings have become so bad that they've needed changing and I fear I won't be able to get exact replacements in the future as they are ridged for the fitment. I've tried washing and washing and rubbing them as hard as I can with fairy liquid but to no avail. They still stink! Are they now a lost cause or can I use something to make them like new again? I feel like I've been unclean. Any advice please?

Or a vodka bath could be another thing to try . . . .

Vodka bath would be my preference, seems to get rid of everything, I use it for all my coils (overnight soak) before chucking them in the ultrasonic for a whirl, even gets rid of the residue of Red Astaire. Usually tanks just get a whizz in the sink with washing up liquid but if they are proper manky then a soak with the coils in the vodka or even a whirl in the ultrasonic with vodka works.

When I read the post title I thought I was on the wrong forum Same. My first thought was Onion Ring flavoured crisps (or eliquid) as my youngest calls them Stinky O-Rings!

If you do need replacements you may find what you need HERE at Fastech If you click the little 'model' box at the side you get a drop down list of lots of different sizes.
