I have worked for an international pneumatics company for over 25 years. I was the supervisor in the Control Section building electro-pneumatic control systems for most of that time, but have recently been moved to Production Planning for that section. Chained to a desk now, and off the tools......

I'm the SPOC (single point of contact) for a Team in one of the many fields of the health & social care. Basically, I liaise with various other organisations and work behind the scenes to help keep our Team ticking along smoothly. I liken myself to Rosemary the telephone operator from Hong Kong Phooey

I side stepped into this role a number of years back after admitting to myself I didn't like face to face client/case work any more - but still wanted to work in the particular sector I'm in. Loads happier now and really do like my job (most of the time!!)

Im a chef,was gonna make my move into a rosette restaurant until i found out i was having a baby lol,had to take a step back as the hours would have meant being at home about 8 hours a day inc sleep lol
