Just bought 2L of nicotine base. What is the best way to store it, just in a dark place or in the freezer ? Any help appreciated, thanks for looking.

Just keep it cool and out of the light, especially direct sunlight. A freezer is not really necessary, but if you have space, it's the best option. A fridge is more than adequate.
I have a litre bottle of 72 which is over a year old and is kept in a cool cabinet. It is almost as clear as when bought. It's in a plastic bottle, but I squeeze the air out after use.
If it degrades, it will darken. But it takes a long time unless it is contaminated. (Air will contaminate it, as will siphoning directly from the bottle).

Decanted into amber glass bottles Why the coloured glass Mandy? It's dark in the freezer! Jim It's considered by those more knowledgeable than me, to be the best colour to prevent any degradation in the long term storage process Jim. Followed by blue, green and lastly clear IIRC. Using nic base that is over 6 years old stored in such a way, which shows no signs of any deterioration, I'm happy to follow this advice! Although I have resorted to using a couple of Boots VG bottles when I ran out of amber, which I'm sure will be fine for shorter frozen storage.

PerpetuaI completely understand where you're coming from Mandy. Because I'm an idle git, I've just put the bottles the Nicotine was posted in into the freezer, mostly opaque white plastic. Oldest is only 2.2 years and so far no degradation. I have 12.7 years stock at present rate, so I have long way to go. Time will tell! Jim

Got mine in 500ml amber glass bottles in the bottom of a chest freezer.
Just started using some 72mg PG from NicVape that's about 4yrs old & it's good.

Well I'm adding more to my beer fridge. It's a decent size stella one so I'm adding a few litres that will get used before the freezer stuff
