I got word from my friend Dr Guðmundur Karl Snæbjörnsson MD that the parliament of Iceland could potentially reject the corrupt TPD regulations in Europe that were pushed by the Big Pharma industry lobbyists.

Today in less than an hour, we will have our Iceland Premiere with multiple members of Parliament in attendance. Afterwards, there will be various health experts speaking, including Prof John Britton, Prof Peter Hajek, Prof Linda Bauld, and Mr. Clive Bates.

The first parliament in the world was created in 930 AD in Iceland. I'm confident this parliament will be just as forward thinking today. ....

So Iceland are considering, possibly with an open mind  , on how to regulate ecigs sensibly rather than just copy the EU TPD.

Iceland isn't an EU country though so the TPD wouldn't apply unless they were considering voluntarily adopting it

It should also be remembered that they were the only country to imprison crooked bankers .....did it do us or the USA any good?

They were considering using it too (voluntarily), as a copy & paste legislation... but may be having second thoughts.

If I understand the situation correctly, it's against the law for Icelandic retailers to sell juice containing nicotine over 9mg/ml.

Far from seeing sense, they've voted to maintain more rigid, less vape-friendly regulation than even the TPD.

I hadn't realised that ceedee, having watched the conference (link in reply #5)... I thought that their parliament was more open than that and looking at introducing something better.
