Package opened by Customs - 3FVape

This morning I had my first package delivered that had been opened and checked by Customs and re-sealed, it was just one of those diddy EgoOne batteries from 3FVape, bright yellow sticker on it and had been completely opened and taken out the box and then re-sealed and the envelope sellotaped up.

Not had that before even with much bigger orders from FT & GB etc.

It was only a little bubble envelope as well, not even as if it was huge and had 'electronic component' written on the declaration bit.

Don't think this will be an isolated incident in the coming weeks. They're a tad early if it's TPD related or it could be the amount of "electronic component" parcels arriving that has raised suspicion. Who knows. What I do know is, customs can do pretty much as they like without answering to anyone.

.......and there was me thinking they might have more important things to concentrate on......Can just see The Sun headline now "Evil vaper foiled in attempt to import 2.1ml tank".....

Reminds me of that awful poster campaign from HMRC "We are watching you" aimed at self employed people

Shame they haven't got the nuts or nous to go after Starbucks, Amazon et al......

Ahh umm it's in the bin with the remains of lunch and dinner on top of it so a picture won't be possible but it said something along the lines of this package has been opened by RM Customs & Excise and the contents checked or verified or something like that, the jiffy had had the top cut off and then sellotaped back up with the sticker stuck folded over the top of the sellotape.

I have had the yellow stickers on mine before, something about not meeting posting regulation within the E.U when I searched it was to do with China posting to Europe then being sent on to its final destination country.

No this packet had been opened and checked smokingaces , I've also had the ones you are talking about many a time and usually from Gearbest but this was a different proper Customs one.

Dont sweat it. Customs open X amount and check. Like Cops have a quota of cars to pull over. Its random.
