Hi, Just thinking about all these new trends that pop up in the news and stuff. From Pokemon, Spinners, Loom bands ect. I remember when i was younger and collected troll dolls, pogs and super mario stickers and I always tried to get the rare ones but it was such great fun collecting them all. I see more and more vapers with special cabinets and units just to display and show off their vape gear and we all like to collect certain types of vape gear. Someone should release a vapers collectable item that us adults could buy, collect and trade. Maybe special drip tips with rare ones to collect lol that would be fun...or maybe im just trying to recapture the child in me. But we need something like that

I've always steered clear of expensive collectibles. Penny/pound items - Football stickers, smurfs, rubik cube type things, lt'd edition records... sure why not? I could see it catching on with drip tips and maybe other items, but the days of people trading in so-called collectible mods (mostly mechs) and 'flipping' gear is something I wouldn't want to see return. I guess it's like anything in life. People pay for all sorts of rare stuff. The crazy business of mods going on ebay for £299 and someone buying them and/or other vapers getting their knickers in a twist is best avoided. So, yeh... maybe, but let's not forget how unpleasant that all was. If my illegal subtanks become collectible, maybe my tune will change. Perhaps I can get my money back on a rubbish eVic v.1? Protank 1, rare as rocking horse poo.... trade for a £99 mod.

GG equipment used to be very collectable especially the early pieces which I've seen command epic prices! Whether the same applies now wouldn't know. But if someone offered me £1,000 for one of the first SS GGTS I still have - I'd take it.

I do always describe myself as a vaping hobbyist, what with mixing and coiling its definitely a learned skill also. A collector I am, as why else would I own more than one mod and tank (with a spare backup) if I wasn't enjoying the beauty of my vape gear? I wouldn't go crazy but I did always have a vaping wish list, the price of my billet box 4 cost more than a standard weeks holiday but I still class that as very reasonable compared to my previous smoking addiction. I always fancied a stabwood unique dna mod and now have three as a high end mod is only the price of a months smoking budget so for an item that can be used for years I would say it is a bargain. Obviously my driptip acrylic love is my real collection! that's akin to collecting a set of cards or a full set of collector items as I often strive to match to my mods but each and every one has its own charm, and to me are a beauty to behold I don't have a display cabinet on the wall (far too scared my family will section me!) but they are beautifully arranged inside a small cabinet and opening the door to my treasure trove brings me great joy.

My early edition iStick should be worth mega £ soon. Especially as it has a bendy adaptor.
