Photobucket costs $399.99 to link your images - not free now

I've replaced my Pup Collective signature picture with a code from Imgur MrDJ as I found this morning that had been zapped!
Photobucket are not doing away with that!

I'd suspect that a few Members are similarly affected either with their sigs or avatars . . . . . so if anyone needs help with replacements, then please shout. I'm sure between us we can sort something out.

Just for general info the one I use is "XOMF" - xomf.com/

Can upload one or several images concurrently - then copy off the provided links for pasting into the post/reply screen.

No sign up, no login and I've never had a problem. Not one of the mainstream "big named" image hosts - but maybe it's an option to hold in backup.

As indeed are the Smiley ' headers ' on the main Mixology and Photo Album Boards . . . . apologies they will have to stay until Chrissie is next online and feels up to sorting this particular nuisance out, as snow and myself don't have the necessary permissions to remove/adjust them.

And apologies from me also. Please bear with me everyone as I'm struggling at the moment. Pics in the boards headers & footers need to be hosted so I'm going to have to look into the most reliable alternative to Photobucket.

I also need to look into which forum smilies (part from personal smilies that we know are hosted by PB) & download & reupload to get them working again.

Thank you Dave I sadly had to lose 2 of the smilies as Photobucket wouldn't let me download them Luckily, I already had the section header smilies saved to  my PC pics, so could upload them to a new host.

imgbb.com/ is another decent free host i use it when imgur.com has a brainfart and goes into an endless loop of cAPTCHA verifications occasionally.

Looking at some options perps, just pi££ed off that all prior links have been broken. I refuse to be held to ransom so them pics will not be restored and the account closed.
