Hi all,
I have been a Vaping for almost 4 years now with almost a year of Sub Ohm & I have decided to indulge in the practise of making my own liquids from concentrate. I have seen a few DIY kits about from various companies which have the bottles, syringes, nicotine shots, PG / VG & basic concentrate flavours. I was wondering if these kits are worth getting or not ?.
Also one of my favourite flavours to date is the V-Juice version of Heisenberg & I would love to make a similar version at 80/20 6mg. I was wondering if the V-Juice concentrate is worth getting or if there are other decent brands where you say get more for your money ?.
Any advice would be appreciated

Hi and jwarIt probably is cheaper to use 72mg/ml nicotine liquid.... rather than the new 10ml nic shots. A couple of suppliers still sell it such as: www.nicotine72mg.co.uk/VG can be bought from chemists such as Boots Value Glycerin BP. Other items (PG) and ancillary items bottles, syringes, etc. from many other sources. There are many companies also selling concentrates, such as Chef's Flavours, Rainbow Vapes, and others If you like Vampire Vapes Heisenberg then why not grab a bottle of concentrate, either from them or Chef's? There may also be some clone concentrates out there for it, but I'm not sure. There's also a lot of information on mixology in the AAEC Mixology section.

jwar and congrats on your almost 4yrs Chefs do a similar version of Heisenberg (a bit cheaper) - Fixing Good, might be worth your while grabbing a bottle of each and seeing what you prefer.. Aside from the sound advice from Postmodern Smoking you'll be needing a mixing calculator, the one I prefer is e-liquid-recipes.com/There's also the opportunity to mix by weight, (far easier and less washing up! imho) If you decide to go down the mixing by weight route you'll need some scales that are at least capable of weighing 100g, at an accuracy of 0.01g www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00EPO9M2Y

Wow thank you ever so much for that extremely useful information, I had no idea that 72mg was still obtainable since the changes. In regards to the concentrates I always thought that V-Juice was a different brand to Vampire Vapes, but thank you for the links. SaveSave

A few days ago I installed the juice me up program on my laptop & having compared it to some online ones, the calculations are almost exactly the same. Thank you for the scales information Save

Well I have ordered everything but the scales, even remembered to order some Nitrile gloves, so there is no going back now. Once I get the hang of it, I look forward in trying some more complex recipes and posting them on here, along with any warnings that they cause you to gain an extra body part that wasn't there before. to the mixing world jwar. Personally, I started with a mixing kit - but in retrospect wish I'd gone to the trouble of just buying all the bits, because that's what I ended up doing anyway. I also got so much experienced help on this forum, don't know what I would have done without it!

Thanks for all the replies everyone it is much appreciated . The postman knocked an hour ago with most of my goodies. PG & VG Concentrates Empty 30ml & 10ml bottles Syringes (1ml, 2ml, 5ml, 10ml) & needles Gloves So I guess that once I get my Nicotine through, then I am good to go ?. Another thing I was thinking of was 100ml bottles, I have seen some on ebay which say they were eye liquid dropper bottles. Would these be suitable for my juice, or do I need a special type ?
