My Mag Stir cost me nothing, I made it for my brewery.

Honestly folks . . . .If you do have an urgent need to be parted from your money, give it to a reputable, deserving cause where it will actually do some good.
You can send it my way. I will turn it into beer, mead and wine. I'm reputable and it will do some good, but not sure about the deserving bit.

I've got a wonky possessed washing machine so whenever it's on the spin cycle I sellotape the bottles on the top and it shakes them. No cost and then stick them in the cupboard for a steep

As it's been said before. Introducing too much air can be detrimental to the final product. This was noted months ago and kreed reiterated it a few weeks ago. All to their own but shake and leave I find best. If something is a little chemical smelling (I find with custards) I let it breath after steeping for a day by leaving the cap off 😊🤔😆

BUT I do recall laurie9300 made up a fancy juice mixer at fairly reasonable cost. I believe he made it from a desktop PC power supply. Yes, here's mine....... I use it all the time and find it invaluable! I mix for a few friends and sometimes do many mixes in a session. Typically a mix is only on the stirrer until the next one is ready, and significantly shortens the whole process. In my opinion a stirrer like this introduces far less air into the mix than shaking, and reduces "mixers elbow" significantly! I have been watching these Nitecore ones for a while now, waiting for a decent review. The fan in my power supply is coming to the end of its life and I'll need to do something soon......

Love the ingenuity, laurie9300, though I am firmly in the 'shake a bit and leave' camp as far as best results and steeping are concerned!
