Just seen this new Stirrer on Heaven Gifts - www.heavengifts.com/product/Nitecore-Magnetic-Liquid-Mixer.html. Looks like a decent bit of kit for those who are into serious mixing. Reasonably priced for what it is at around £100. Nitecore are a reputable manufacturer of battery chargers, but not seen this before.

that's just a standard magnetic mixer used in every lab across the country rebranded for vapers.

I'm sure some will succumb to the shinyitus pull

I have one I made myself out of an old computer cooling fan and some magnets that I use to propagate yeast. Quite a popular piece of kit for us home brewers. But this looks far more designed for the job, and the price for a commercial mag stirrer is very reasonable at £100, so not a mega rip off at all. Most commercial versions will set you back well over double the price of this one.

Just shake with the hands God gave us . . . . and leave in a cupboard, it's a heck of a lot cheaper and a well tried and tested method!

Works equally as well for all mixers, serious or otherwise.

Ok, but to what power do you set the hand?

Is it a 20 watt or 30 watt shake? Or is it even a serious subohm shake of 200 watt?

Me? I hand mix and give the bottle a bit of a shake after filling then stash it in the cupboard. It's not that I think there is any benefit (or not) doing it that way. just that I'm sorta slack and that is the cheapest, easiest and most expedient method for me.

BUT I do recall laurie9300 made up a fancy juice mixer at fairly reasonable cost. I believe he made it from a desktop PC power supply.

Serious Mixers shake for 20 seconds, but I'm an Amused Mixer, so its 5 seconds for me.  I believe some Really Hilarious Mixers have it down to 2 seconds or less.

Needless to say, Really Miserable Mixers all end up with repetitive strain injuries.

I have one like this and it works a treat. Cost less than a fiver on flea bay if I recall. Battery operated but manages to get 70/30 juice swirling nicely. I only run it for a minute or two to make sure all is nicely mixed.

Mag Stir my mixes for an hour, they don't need any maturing after that!

Honestly folks . . . . save your money, none of these frothing/stirring gadgets are necessary for successfully creating tasty DIY eliquid - not least when they cost a £100. 

( And they can also be detrimental in the flavour molecule steeping process. )

If you do have an urgent need to be parted from your money, give it to a reputable, deserving cause where it will actually do some good.

Being essentially a cheapskate (why else do I mix all my own liquid and build tanks and drippers rather than using stock coils!?) I have never even considered mixing by weight, let alone parting company with a fist full of cash to buy something like this.
Like other mixers in this thread, I shake bottles until my arms hurt (usually about 10 seconds!) and then put them away to rest and for Mother Nature to do her stuff on a molecular level.
I might be able to improve my mixes by a small percentage by using high-end equipment, but my methods work well enough for me, and the dosh stays in my wallet (well, until I spend it on something else!).
