Hi guys,

200ml of VG is now 99p in Boots

I think it was about 1.39 before....

Just be prepared for an interview by the instore "Special Branch" as to why you are buying 5 bottles

Hmm have to think about this one when I do my weekly shop. I could go to Frome or Septon Mallet where there won't be a problem or if I'm in the mood for a free arguement I can take on the dragon lady of Wincanton.

All my VG, no matter where I buy it, is diluted at 20% with distilled water.

I just dollop in some filtered, boiled and cooled water, probably about 10% - sorted then.

If you're more particular than me unclegromit and can't obtain Distilled Water easily, then ask for Purified at the pharmacy counter.

Yep, though there's really no need.
Filtered and boiled is good enough.
If, like me, you have a fridge with an icebox, just save some of the glaicer that periodically forms in there and use that.
Beats paying several quid for a bottle from Halfords or somesuch.

I get my 5L pharma-grade purified water on order from my local pharmacy.... £3.75 for 5L.
They don't stock it but get it in next day for me through their usual wholesalers.

I don't bother with any of that faff but if I did I'd probably add a little pg. If I added 10% I would just knock that off the final percentage. Obviously this wouldn't be acceptable to anyone who suffers pg intolerance, but otherwise simples 🤔👍😊

Good point jtc.

I don't, not just from the sensitivity aspect, but also as I tend to use high(ish) ratios of flavour in my mixes - those dilute automatically for me. The small volume of water I do add is really just to make handling easier, although gently warming would have the same effect. ( That's a small faffage too far to do on regular basis for me. )

Dilute with vodka for me. If you try this use sparingly as a small amount has a big effect.

When I used to mix with boots vg in the winter I would leave the bottles on the radiator for a while until I was set up ready to mix 😊
