Ohhhhhhh yes ! The hammer is a well-known cure for a lot of troublesome gear. I had a Boxer clone lying in the box for a couple of months. My first attempt at modding it ended in disaster. So yesterday I took a couple of deep breaths, opened the box and had another go at it. This time successfully and it is now working perfectly.

Nice one striker42. Am hoping I get a similar result with the Icarus when the temptation to destroy is less!

There is potential with the Icarus to make a real nice, good working box. dagl did a number on his that turned out well and I had the pleasure of test driving it at Vapefest. I tried to buy a second hand Icarus to have a play with but the seller wanted more than the new price claiming " it works perfectly and hits like a train" . Think it was him who'd been hit by the train
