I love that size tip and yes thebishman it should accommodate whatever build you want. I use a fused clapton but don't consider that big and silly 😊

It's bloody marvellous with a single coil I can tell ya 😉

Single coil that has to be wound anti clockwise, with anti clockwise holes in your winder

I'm using 0.6ohm coils in mine and finding the flavour rather bland and muted

I also prefer tanks with the bigger drip tips

Position of the coil I find quite important. I find half the coil protruding above the top of the deck does the trick. This makes the airflow hit from the bottom half of the coil and I get plenty of flavour 👍😉

Well beedee, I've managed to get a second hand resin Icarus. Picking it up tomorrow morning from a local lad. I dare say there will be much hair pulling, swearing and throwing of all loose items this weekend. You gotta love a challenge.

The other way it could go, striker42, is the 'Random China Quality Control' way - you'll get it and it will work straight out of the box like a dream, then I'll be hair pulling, swearing and throwing loose items...!

The first problem I spotted on the Icarus was probably the easiest to cure, the detachable back panel. I think they all want detachable panels so they can sell you different patterened/coloured panels but they have forgot all about the functionality of being able to squeeze the bottle without the panel popping off

I reckon im gonna end up with one. That locking mechanism is a bit iffy..but be good to see the one that will make production.
