They've gone this morning . . . . . www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-41464934Th CAA have taken on the task of flying 110,000 customers back home who are currently stranded, at a cost of around 60million pounds. What a horrible position for anyone affected to find themselves in.

Agree - this sort of thing is never good. Nobody wins and it seems taxpayers will foot at least some of the bill to clean up the mess. Not to make light of the position of the folks left stranded.

Hopefully nobody booked a flight only, under £100 on a credit card. They may struggle to get their money back.
