Any thoughts on Crown v.3?

Evening all,

Does anyone have any thoughts on the Crown v.3? (I did a thread search and couldn't find anything!)

Lots of good reviews and some very reasonable deals from our chums out East. Also some good deals on coil packs from GB at the moment.

I had a Crown 1 and thought it was OK.....

Somebody on UKV was selling one cheap or giving it away saying it wasn't good and another member said neither the V2 and nor the V3 were as good as the V1. But that's just two people.

My mate has one at work and the coils are dieing in a few days. I've read different things from different people but from what I have seen I wouldn't bother. It's a beautifully designed tank in every other way, but unfortunately the coils seem crap. Such a shame since Uwell started off so well with the first crown 😧

I've not read anything especially positive about the later Crown versions either ghostrider1971 . . . . all have said how much better the V1 is/was.

I have them all v1,se1,v2 and the v3. Love them all but the v3 was a bit of a let down with coils. I believe they have addressed it with the new coils. People didn’t like the rafele either but once you take the bar out from the chimney it’s a good tank with the new coils you now get for it. Next on my list is the Valyrian from Uwell. Heard good things about it but it does need a lot of power. Just wish I could get one with the egg case some reviewers got. Lol. Might sell a few of mine on to get it actually.
