Cutting glass

Hi I need cut a griffin glass down by 7 mil what would be the best way to do it ? Iv done something similar befor but only had to cut 2 mil so I put it on a belt sander , but it took a long time being gentle .

Obviously there's the risk that you'll crack the glass by using a cutter but i wouldn't like to sand it down by that much tbh. What about a pipe cutter then wet and dry to smooth the edges?

Will it not be easier nabbing something like this? It's 6mm shorter than the griffin 22 but close nuff

Could have done with that when I was a nipper.
I watched the bird man of alcatraz film and he cut a bottle down on the edge of some concrete and i tried doing it meself.
Ended in a trip to A&E.
Though the beating me mom gave me for getting injured in the first place was much worse lol.

As mentioned before probably easier to search for another glass tank.
From the specs on FT the Griffin glass is 22mm x 29.5mm so cutting 7mm off the height the dimensions you need are 22mm x 22.5mm

Found this one that is 22mm x 23mm so only half a mm off and won't take a lot of grinding to get perfect.

Got it sorted , tried looking on fasttech for the size I needed and it came up with sex toys !! Honest.. So its a vaporesso nrg 5mil tank with a smok baby beast rba with a cleto 120 glass modified, sanded on a belt sander then 400 wet and dry

And with all that messing around cutting glass, swapping rba's etc. I can see you have too much time on your hands, and the interweb is your 'friend'.
