The faux fur problem...

Bought myself a lush faux fur leopard print coat. Only problem is it's shedding fibers onto my clothes, so I haven't worn it yet.

Anyone have any ideas how to stop it shedding or at least dramatically reduce it.

I have tried hoovering the coat & using one of those tape roller things.

if possible, wash/dry clean and see if that'll remove some of the loose fibres..
or how about a good going over with a nit comb?!

It must be a word because I didn't get a red line under it telling me I spelt is wrong.

I suppose I could wash it on a delicate cycle & then use the nit comb

Take it to a dog groomers, that's what we do when the fur get's too much.

I find brushing mine twice a day and adding a little oil to the food helps not only moulting but a healthy shiny coat aswell. #icon_rofl#

Try either misting it with a fine water spray or wiping it down with a damp cloth, then leave it to dry naturally.

I was thinking about putting it the washer on a very delicate cycle. Then letting it air dry.

I did get a reply from the seller, who basically said brush it and shake it.
