battery charginng problem - help!

I have read a thread going back to 2013 doesn't seem to be anything more recent. My eGo battery wouldn't charge just wouldn't turn red so I swapped it for a new battery, after a week same thing. Tried my last new battery and same problem! I must be very unlucky with my batteries. I have cleaned the contacts, eased out the pin and tried several different chargers including my laptop and a brand new charger The lights usually go red for about half a minute then go green. Battery meter shows 1.5 I understood it needs recharging at about 3 so the batteries aren't actually charged. I really don't know what else I can do anyone got a magic solution or are all 3 batteries dud?

When you say "tried several different chargers including my laptop and a brand new charger" do you mean that you have tried a new charging lead?



Also, where did you get the batteries from?

from me as well janeyo. As at Postmodern Smoking you might like to try as well turning your battery off and with a pin or jewellers screwdriver gently tease the centre pin (where your atomiser screws on) up. This may help the contact between battery and charger.

have you used a mobile phone charging plug by any chance as most of them have higher ampage and can knacker a ecig battery quite quickly. a trickle chare will prolong the life over a fast charge any day.
my blu pro battery is 3 years old on the 20th february and still used every single day.
ive used a phone charger plug 3 times in the last week as the earth pin broke off my ecig plug and since then its taking 3 times as long to charge so im now charging on my laptop again and its taking all night instead of 1.5 hours. so damage now done.
