whatever crap they come up with it gets posted in all the papers and on the news and on social media. when it is debunked do we see these reports removed, of course not.
so even if vaping was only 50% safer, or even 40/30% its still safer than smoking full stop. so i will continue vaping and maybe in 10 or 20 years time they will finally give up with all this bloody scaremongering. sadly in that time how many more people will die from smoking as they were scared to start vaping.

Looks quite scholarly to me. Suggests that aldehydes from flavourings or overheating PG/VG are to blame.
Interestingly they tested actual capers, rather than extrapolating from a badly wicked atomiser...

Perhaps they need to consider that NICOTINE may be a bigger player than simply "Vaping". Supposition and inference as well as the vague characterization of "Unique" demand that the study, with such a limited sample size, contain a statement of being inconclusive. Being funded by the ANTZ, they found what they had been paid to find. And reported in kind. Cheers I

While I too will carry on vaping, as no research would suggest that smoking is safer than e cigs, the study Dr F is quoting is a different study and looking at different things. Reading this article they are in my view over hyping the results. While they do show increased secretions compared to Non Smokers, the difference between Smokers and E Cig users was quite marked, and clearly showed that vaping was better than smoking. To me that should be the headline.

Perhaps if I fully understood " (an) Innate Immune Response" maybe I could make some sense of it all.

Perhaps if I fully understood " (an) Innate Immune Response" maybe I could make some sense of it all. Indeed something else to worry about that we (well me and you anyway) had never heard of until today. Do many people die from it? Or is it a lack of it? Will I actually start worrying about it. No.

Do many people die from it? Or is it a lack of it? Will I actually start worrying about it. No. Agreed. If the numbers are anything to go by. Non-smokers 1251 E-cig users 1322 Smokers 1986 I make the increase 5% above not-smoking. Almost 60% for smokers. The fact anything is measurable in a non-smoker means it exists, it's there already. Sleep losing... No.

I'm not losing sleep either djs, I'm celebrating. The results may not show that vaping is harmless, but it does show that it is a hell of a lot better than smoking, and that's enough for me.
