Found this to be a bit Marmite, either love it or hate it. I loved it

Made this in August 2015 I do believe or that may have just been when I remembered to print my recipe off for my file TPA Custard 10% CAP Cake Batter 7% CAP Sweet Cream 4% TPA Bavarian Cream 4% That to me was Charlies Devilicious, probably steeped for a good few months so it was a nice dark brown colour

Sounds right up my custardy street TJ. Although I don't *think* jtc is a fan of Capella's Cake Batter IIRC . . . . . me, I love the stuff!

I bet its not the same as their original recipe. That was gorgous. Then it changed and it was just ok imo. Wonder what recipe this one is.

Have done a sample mix but had to substitute 2 of the concs - Cap vanilla custard to replace TPA and F'Art fresh cream to replace the Bavarian. Won't be the same as TJ 's but could be interesting

I don't get any ' chemical ' or perhaps I just like that taste having used it as a standalone at 20% in the past! There's other cake battery type flavours about, FW and Lorann spring to mind - perhaps either of those might be more to your tastes jtc.

I get the same chemical taste from cap vc as well but after a long steep and plenty of air it disappears also lol. It's crazy how we all taste so different 😄
