Got home last night from work and there is a parcel and a look from my Mrs naturally I say I did not order anything again a look so I open it up and there is a little box, inside there is a little silver necklace which I gave to my Mrs who said you need to find out who sent this wait until she gets in today as I had the dog out this morning only to find a UPS guy at my door when I return with yet another parcel which he has me sign for then hands me something which is vibrating so I open it and find a usb desktop fan

When you've generated the smiley right click on it and save the image to your PC/Phone or whatever, upload it to Postimage.org use the direct url it generates to post the image.

Todays freebie is a 300Mbps WiFi Router - now this could be handy if it works the Amazon reviews aren't encouraging - probably why they are "brushing it This one did come as an Amazon Prime delivery.

I feel sick to my stomach turns out my "freebies" were not freebies after all - I went to order a book from Amazon and couldn't log in had to go through recover password but no recovery codes arrived in my inbox which I thought was very strange logged into my mailbox online and found dozens of "deleted" emails all from Amazon including the codes to change my password that I had just that moment requested! Managed to change the password and get into my amazon account and went to buy the book thinking it was some kind of glitch and went to use my gift card balance to pay which should have been over £60 instead it was down to £20! Checked my order history as I had every day last week when these orders started arriving and there was nothing showing that i hadn't ordered myself however when I went back to the gift card balance page theres a link to check what the gift cards had been used for and the stuff I had been sent was in there!! Someone had hijacked my account and used my credit balance to order these items! I contacted customer support and have reported it and they will investigate and let me know the outcome - not sure if that will get me my money back or not! Meantime I couldn't figure out why all the amazon emails were in the "trash" - tried to recheck and found myself locked out of my email account! Someone (not me) had changed the password whilst I was dealing with Amazon! Luckily I was able to get a new code via phone verification and got back in and changed the password myself. I then had to go through everything to find out what they had been doing in my account - and found a filter which was set so that any amazon emails went straight into trash so were not being downloaded to my email client! In there I found all the orders and delivery details and requests for feedback etc. I also found a password change email which is how they'd got into the account and locked me out! Hopefully they are now locked out of my email and Amazon accounts - but I'm going to have to go through the settings one by one to make sure they haven't added a backdoor I don't know about! Which is why I am still online and wide awake at 2am!

Damn snow that sucks! Hopefully you get it sorted with Amazon quickly and without too much loss. A further comment /suggestion: In your shoes, I'd be doing a "once over" of ALL my stuff. Anything even remotely "on-line". Accounts, records, whatever. Just in case ... Likely nothing more than your one Amazon account has been affected but you do not want the chance of anything else being hurt or taken over.
