As another DIYer I don't worry about how much I vape - whilst at work I take a 15 ml bottle and a full tank with me in the morning, and get through about 5-6 ml during the day, and then fill up in the evening so it's probably around 10 ml a day at present - I'll always vape more when at home, over the weekend for example, but I always make sure I've got a back up, spare batteries or extra mod, just in case.
I use a 0.4 ohm coil and 3 mg juice and my coils last about a month at 29 watts. I like fruit/candy flavors so there usually ready to go after mixing, and even adding in the couple of mods that I just had to have this year, it's costing me less than one pack of stinkies a week, whereas I used to get through a pack a day, and if that was the reason I'd switched to vaping I think it would be hard to argue with.

Probably about 8ml of 8mg/ml.

With the set up that I have been using for over three years now, I recharge it overnight and I also top up the atty then so that I just have to unplug it in the morning and then I am good to go. No spare batteries and no extra juice. Good for 23 hours if necessary.
Vaping, for me, had to be better than smoking on a multitude of levels. It had to be smaller than a pack of 20 super kings, satisfying, cheaper and healthier. Okay, it did take me a couple of years before I found a set-up where I didn't have to carry spare batteries and spare ejuice, but once I found that, I stuck with it.
I have not bought any mods, atties, coils or chemicals for over a year now and hopefully I will not need any for the considerable future.
I have however bought myself a brand new car, a second hand caravan, paid for the last 5 years of holidays and spent about 5 thousand pounds on revamping both front and back gardens.
So whether I am high ohming or low ohming, the views out the front and the back, is definitely improving!!!!

And, might I say, the pics you've previously put up of your yard improvements certainly look great.

Thank you DaveJOn the downside, since my stroke last April, the caravan and the garden has gone walkabout as I do not have the energy to cope with that sort of thing. On the upside, at least I have the money to hire in contractors and let them do the heavy stuff.

Hi DaveJ I'm fine wombling about doing the local shopping and dealing with folks that know me. They know that I can struggle with my words and they give me the time to try to get things out. If I go outside the zone, then I write out wee notes to give to shop assistants so that they know what I want. It is when I go to strange places, that I struggle. I am away this afternoon to a hospital appointment for a check-up for an operation I had about 10 years ago. I am not looking forward to this. All the explaining of things that I have not tackled in years. Ho hum. I'll get through it somehow.

I'd imagine lobeydosser that any and all medical people would be very understanding of your present issues - even though, in your position I'd prolly have similar concerns. Do the medical folk offer you hope for further improvements?

Towards the end of my stay in hospital, various departments said that there would be follow-ups by various out-patient departments to look after me as I recovered from the stroke. However strokes vary in patients and while I did attend 2 appointments from Speech Therapy, all they did was listen to what I had experienced while out and about and they did not suggest me doing anything different. Actually I suspect that many of these, so called, out patients departments are a con, set up to squeeze the government for more money, but in actual fact are a waste of money, staff and resources.
I did get 2 visits, at home, from the Staff Nurse of the hospital which looked after me and she was right on the ball. I learned more from her during these visits than from anyone else during my time in hospital and throughout my recovery. The first visit came a month after I got home and the second was 2 months after coming home. By the time of these visits I was sufficiently recovered to need answers to my questions.
I know now that what I have regained is about as far as I will get, and that is okay. I'd rather know and work on that than keep hoping for some future miracle that ain't going to happen. Now that I know the parameters, I can work on those and plan the rest around these.
And, ofcourse, when all else fails and my world looks like it is coming apart, I have a safety net in my Garden Shed where I keep all my Vaping Stuff. It is amazing how little I can get done, sitting on a comfy stool, gazing out at the unfinished garden work that I still have to complete, while vaping on the latest home brew e-juice and doing not a lot. Many a happy hour has been spent doing just that.
My hospital visit yesterday was a 10 year check-up on my 2 replacement knees. They are still A1.

Thanks to all that have commented on your daily ejuice consumption. Your comments have answered many questions which I did not understand and they have set my mind and rest over whether to continue to vape the way I am going or to try something new. Yesterday was a rather worrying day because the weather was bad and I had to drive a long way to get to a hospital where I had gone through two Replacement Knee operations, ten years ago. They did x-rays, took measurements and pronounced me fit, so I can wait another 5 years before I need to go back for another check-up. During yesterday I probably vape my way through 3ml between the worry and the traffic. Today I am so laid back I doubt if I have got through 1ml. Even the sun was laid back today as it has shone all day.

Of a weekday I do a max of about 1 5ml tank during the day and then probably another in the evening (depends on what I'm doing) - weekends or when I work at home I vape all the time - so this probably goes up to 15 or even 20ml - but I squonk a lot at home and this really increases juice use! When I estimated how much Nic I'd need to stock up on for home mixing I estimated at 12ml a day.

My work-load, time of the week, my mood, the weather etc etc, changes the daily amount I get through vaping.
So any estimation had to be worked out over a period. I make up my main e-juices to go into 100ml bottles and I further decant that into 30ml, squeezey bottles that have a spout on them. It is the length of time that I use to get through one 30ml bottle that I work out my daily usage.
So far each 30ml bottle lasts for 14 days, so 14 into 30 = 2.14ml per days.
