Looks like I'm flying solo this year, but the train should get me to Shrewsbury a little while before I'll be able to check in at the pub, so I'll definitely be around for drinkies on the Friday

Now to work out how to get back on the Sunday

Don't forget the jump leads (ETA note to me don't get side tracked and let someone post the same dame thing without checking of updates) btw normally have some in the boot of my car

Thanks for the offer, I thought about seeing if I could get part way and look at trying to scrounge a lift, then I looked at the London to Shrewsbury train tickets. £14

I'm in London on the Wednesday and the train ticket and a night in my favourite dirt cheap place to stay came to little more than a ticket home would've been. It seemed crazy to make my way home if I was only going to be there for 12 hours or so.

He might make an appearance on the Saturday, but work has got in the way of him making a weekend of it

I shall be roughing it, decided against a king sized bed
Got a better quality, queen size instead. Hope my 240volt inverter will run its built in air pump
The halfords 12v pump should be good enough for the other furniture

I'm not sure and thought it better that i didn't commit to something that i couldn't guarantee.  I'm the newly elected Chairman of a football club and it's hugely time consuming.  If i do go it will be back up and down in one day.
