Are there any pros or cons for adding nicotine after a steep? I've just made up a couple more NETs and was wondering whether to leave the nic until after the 3 week steep? If you add the nic after, you have to re-steep again? Cheers

Afaik most flavourings are the ones that benefit to a longer steeping as good nic adds no flavour dynamic.

The pros of course are that you are going to be able to taste test your mixes before wasting any nicotine.
Taste wise I would of thought due to the slight peppery taste of some nicotine you will notice a little difference in flavour until steeped for a couple more days at least. Or you could speed steep with an ultrasonic tank if you wanted to, or leave it in some warm water for a few hours.
But this is what I do for most of my new mixes I am experimenting with, also making sure that I allow in my percentages the amount of nicotine I will be adding afterwards.

Ha ha something i struggle with.
The nic definately adds something to the flavour of a vape. But i try to only male a new juice without nic...then gauge if its good enough for the nic. If they are worth it ill lob the nic in.

Couldn't be ar$ed with the faff personally . . . . . and as I don't subscribe to speed/forced steeping, I'd rather just crack on and do a mix once and be done with. Even if it needs some later tweaking . . . . .

I can see the point behind trying the flavour out before adding the further expense of the nico; however.....I once steeped tobacco in a PG/VG/Nico. liquid at the ratio that I was gonna vape....& God, it was stronger than a steep in plain PG so I don't agree that Nic. does n't add to the 'flavour profile'. But, this is only ime, & relevant to NETs only . Imo, You may as well sling the nico in with the initial mix....You ain't gonna be chucking out a NET liquid SURELY?!!

If it's a mix you're unsure of.....you can leave the nicotine until after the steep.......as nicotine itself doesn't need to steep.
Adding it earlier though speeds up and enhances any Maillard reaction that might occur (the 'browning')
I can't find any conclusive evidence that this adds any additional flavour.......but it definitely adds to the aesthetic to see a matured juice change colour.

Newly added nicotine can give the juice a peppery taste until a certain amount of oxidation occurs. I notice this with some juices and not with others so maybe try a small sample with the nic added and decide for yourself.

I bought my nic pre-tpd. At that point is was cheaper per mix than concentrate when does at 6mg. It's the concentrates that are expensive, so I mix once and be done... good bad or indifferent
