I dont know Gordy it was years ago, all I was pointing it out in the video was because it happened to me. I am really sorry at the fact that I was misinforming people about batteries getting hot in pockets because of body heat. I dont know if I said that did I??? And if I did I apologise because that is what I thought happened because it happened to me. And thus used my own experience because I thought that was what happened, to inform of it in my video.
Purely because what you just said I did not know and dont know that much about batteries, hell ive only been vaping 11 weeks. But this was all due to personal experience.
But what you also have to appreciate is not everyone knows that either.

I don't think you'll find I have used the word "scam", and yes, they are, in my opinion, lying. Lying about how many draws, lying about ciggie equivalence and definitely lying about Propylene Glycol being "only water" and in everything you eat.

when i got my kit i got as they say the equivalent of 400 cigs, that is the one plastic case with the charger including the 5 carts and a pack with another 5 carts in, and after using it for one full week, i was on my 4th cart, so imo it does what it says on the tin, if you haven't done a long term test then you really can't argue about it.

Does a three year period of using just about everything on the market count?? And, when it comes to it, are you, or would you be happy paying £8 for two carts that would cost you £2.40 just about anywhere else, regardless of the ciggy equivalence. Ask anyone else on here whether they believe a 0.8ml cart can last for the equivalent of 40 ciggies and see what they say.

And after two days of using it i have not had a cig for over 4 weeks now, the only gripe i would have is that there aren't two batteries, but even that wasn't a major factor, i mean in this day and age how far are we from a power supply. Obviously you are not going to change my opinion on this, oh and by the way i gave the kit with the remaining carts to my daughter in law who smoked more than i did and guess what? she quit as well, that's how bad they are, yes i have since transferred her to a riva kit.

They're that good, are they? Neither you nor your daughter have stuck with them. OK, I see.

I know i hate people who say this as well, but at the end of the day if it e lites stop people from smoking fags, which they do, it's all good, as people have already said, just cos there's something better doesn't mean their wrong.

How many folks do you know who have tried this kind of e-cig, with these kinds of claims, and have gone back to ciggies because they didn't live up to their claims? There are, literally, thousands.

so we should be asking him where he got his information before making a fool out of him on VTTV... i know Dave said he may have got carried away in the heat of the moment and may not set a mob on him LOL... for all we know he maybe reading off the fact sheet given him from e-lites verbatim... i doubt it but you never know he maybe the victim in this.

we have all found the wonders of vaping and i know this guys practice of selling e-lites isnt ideal but maybe we should appreciate that at least he is getting the word out there and raising public awareness of e-cigs ...if someone wants to quit change over to e-cigs then even a cig-e-like like e-lite will aid them in achieving this

i dont think many of us will disagree that cig-e-lites are a poor second to even an ego but as its been said most smokers are more comfortable in choosing an cig-e-like as their first venture into the vaping world ....inherently small device = poor battery life and performance ..one would then hope once they have got over the need for their vaping device to resemble a cigarette then they will move onto a better device and keep away from the fags

Dont worry im not offended Gordy I know what you meant.

The thing is regarding this video in my opinion. Without doing this video that Dave has kindly done, to be fair and spent money on a kit. Things were said that even I dont agree with, for instance "its just water and nicotine."
Imo it is going to take something like this to be able to bring it back higher up to Elites, for them to see what damage it is doing to their own reputation.
Whilst they seem to be marketing nationwide, franchising and such there is nothing, but nothing more powerful than the word of mouth. Which all in all is what it comes down, to we the consumer need protection for what ever device we choose to vape on. It does not set a good example for a large firm, if they have been to be training franchisees to be misinforming, consumers if they are. How on earth will we ever know unless, something like this is done so that someone will sit up and pay attention????

I agree with you - the stallholder patently knows nothing of any truth about the product he sells (PG is water and turns blue?? WTF??), but might also be complicit in the peddling of the lies. Folks won't, as a rule, go back and make a scene - and I don't want to put the fear of God into him - but I really do want to see this kind of unscrupulous selling stop. The fact is, the kit is not, in itself, bad - certainly not as bad as some. There is no need to sell it this way, inflating the price and therefore inflating the claims to justify it.

Alright claims it turns blue, yeah i'll give you that but i'm not on about that particuler seller if there is a problem with that seller saying wrong information, then fair enough inform the company, i'm pretty sure he is as far away from the coy as it's possible to get. Then, please, do me the service of understanding that I know many folks who have had exactly that experience, and who have been put off e-cigs by exactly what we have been discussing. And there are many, many more.

Bluefish well done btw on making the move from smoking to vaping. And what brilliant news that E-Lites have helped you make a successful transition from smoking to vaping.

Unfortunatly though tis true that a lot of people have not been as fortunate for one reason or another, but please understand that it is not just this company but others aswell, that people have also not been able to make the transition, for similar reasons.

yes daz , but you can NOT blame the faults from all coy's on one company, as far as i am aware nobody has said that they are the biggest or the best, i ask why the maker of the vid, uses differant devices does that mean that one is inferior to another, he goes on holiday and takes at least 3, nay 3 devices so two of them must be inferior, by their interpretation.

i defo agree we need to confront discuss the grievances with the seller and his lies claims ...i guess for the pricing that is set by e-lite i would imagine

as for the product being donkey poo i totally agree... i recently tried a Liberro cig-e-like and it wasnt worth the time of day but as i said the buyer shoots themselves in the foot for wanting a product that looks exactly like a fag... until they can produce a much better performing battery in the same form factor we are kinda stuck
