I got a 15ml bottle in a £5.00 bargain bundle lot from The Ecig Shop a little while back . . . . as I've several strawberry flavours on the go currently, I need to use something up before trying it. Now, I'm almost too frightened to use it incase I really like it - as I'm not paying that price, not when there are perfectly acceptable ( for my tastes ) alternatives available. ( Apparently Chefs had it priced in line with other FLV concentrates they stock, until the company ( FLV ) complained they were selling it too cheaply. ) I'd give VTA's a go: www.chefsflavours.co.uk/vape-train-australia/6121-shisha-strawberry.html#/7-size-30ml

The range does seem to be getting very, very good feedback from what I've seen tcg69 . . . . have a few flavours from them myself, yet to be tested. I'm now waiting for the Carrot Cake to come back in stock - as that's had rave reviews! Love Carrot Cake and apparently this is very authentic.

8.90 for a 10ml concentrate Epic isn't it . . . . apparently Flavorah have varied prices for different concentrates, depending I guess on the cost of raw ingredients/manufacturing process. Chefs like other Vendors for simplicity's sake applied a set ( same ) price all across the range for every flavour. ( And were happy with the mark up that pricing structure gave. ) Flavorah dictated differently.

Very odd, Perpetua, the vendors were doing them a favour. Or maybe Flavorah just have something against people who like alpine strawberries...

Flavorah like to dictate what prices their concentrates are sold at, they're not alone - Flavormonks were the same, otherwise they stop supplying re-sellers. I guess that's their prerogative, personally on principle alone I wouldn't buy this particular flavour.

Just had a little look around Faceache, This is what Darren Cole thinks.....
'Wouldn’t go no higher than 1% with alpine strawberry it doesn’t work well high. Funny flavour with very little use in a recipe'

I wonder if this is an attempt by some to drive prices up in the premium concentrate market generally. Sadly I think such attempts were successful in the ready made juice market, where some of the prices charged are just frankly ridiculous. I think, business wise, it wont work in the concentrate market - a motivation to mix for many of us is that, when we mix, we feel less ripped off by high prices, it's not the only motivation but it's a factor for me. still...

Very possibly beedee . . . . again personally, I've set myself a maximum limit now on how much I'm prepared to pay for a bottle of concentrate, after any available discounts. There's a few I wouldn't mind trying, but I refuse to pay £14.00+ for a 30ml bottle - even if it is considered to be nectar of the gods. The gods can keep it at that price, I'm not that desperate. ( Not that I'm against anyone making a reasonable/realistic profit and reaping the rewards that their business brings - why shouldn't they. ) And I can only agree with your sentiments on the ' premium ' readymade market given my ongoing experiences with the pre-TPD bargains I bought, 80% so far I'd guess have been modified to approach anything near a tasty, enjoyable vape for my tastes.
