I quite like my Narda RDA, it gives me quite a nice restrictive lung hit. I am currently hovering over the button to buy the Beserker RDA from Vandy Vape as it looks like it can do MTL and a restrictive lung hit as well. The narda was my first "yes this is the one rda". If you like that then please try the odis/o atty rda. Is a better version of the narda For me, stu1873, the Beserker, even on the biggest airflow, it is just a touch too tight, and all you get is a 4 airflow hole choice. However, the Innokin Ares fits the best of both camps better, - it's airflow is also 4 holes but you can have all of them or just a couple open, so it is much more adjustable, and the widest setting is just right for me. All down to individual taste, though!

I've one of those on the way beedee! Having read what you guys have said about various MTL tanks and the tight draw, I'm hoping this will fit the bill for my style of MTL vaping.

Good for you iffn you can use and are happy with anything. I'm not so lucky and can't get a draw that works for me using open airy atties. Even more, just "choking" the air around the base doesn't work for me either. The "choke point", in my opinion, needs to be in the little air tube immediately under the coil. If that's too big (meaning bigger than 2mm dia and ideally about 1.6 to 1.8 mm - or just about exactly what the KFL V2 is...), then no amount of messing with airflow controls elsewhere can save the vape ... for me. It's really pleasing to see some more options for "MTL" gear coming out. Maybe the hype about some of the new gear will soon get to me

I have an Ares tank on the way so hopefully it fits my style.

It has changeable airflow restrictors which might suit your style of vape

... Have you thought about the Cthulhu Hastur DaveJ ? It has changeable airflow restrictors which might suit your style of vape Thanks pancser That's one I have looked at. But not with enough enthusiasm to actually pull out my wallet ... *grin* I did go thro that replaceable inserts thing a while ago here but, ultimately, other issues with that particular atty saw me drift back to my favourites. The personalised insert certainly sorted the draw though. No particular problem - I've got enuff of my favourite and back up RTAs to last a coupla lifetimes.

Must admit, Perpetua , I was a bit cynical about all these new MTL tanks - they all seem to have a similar bottom feeding wicking I thought they wouldn't drain fully - however, I've been able to vape this until the wicks are dry with no problem. Then, of course, I did the convert thing and got both the Serpent and the Beserker - and neither were as good for me. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! By the way, the top filling mechanism is the simplest and most efficient I've seen, slide the top to one side, fill and close - no unscrewing, no crunchy threads, no tiny little fill holes - simples!

i have cut down the the bottom seal off a g sub coil to fit in the subtank rba air tube under the coil to get a good mtl vape outa a netbox kinda wish i hadn't given it away as it lasted yonks at 15 watt and 10 ml of juice gotta agree that the amount of airflow at the coil is what make the main diff between styles of vaping tbh the mk1 gobblin was prob the best at both if you could be bothered with all the faff of building it(wish i could find the single coil adapter for mine lol)outa the tanks ive had
got hold of a doggy type tank and a pico for me mums bday next month and im quite taken with how well they both work ,gota test build them so i know what im doing when i give them to her lol the pico was a bit of a faff to get it to work with the clr coils she knows but it works and hasn't leaked yet the doggy has surprised me buy how easy it was to build and how good it tastes but you gota bottom fill the puppy

Then again, it's so cheap bottom filing isn't so much of a hardship.
