Generally I stick to tanks with stock coils, with some dry burning and rewicking if needs be . . . . largely because it suits, I can't be doing with any equipment faffage and after spending hours trying to splice res/non res wire for some of the early GG RTA's then trying to coil the fiddly bugga's - it put me off most rebuildables! Lately though I've had a yen for something different to suit my style of MTL vaping, the Doggy's were too tight a draw, although straightforward enough to coil/wick - so that was them crossed off the ' to try ' list. Then I remembered the Geekvape Ammit our beedee gave me in a little trade we did and that I'd never got round to using - until this afternoon. How simple was it to set up as well, within literally 10-15 minutes I had it single coiled ( with a pre-made ) wicked and ready to use. No tears, tantrums . . . . nothing. A very nice vape it is to, the versatility of the airflow also means it's suitable for suboming which is great! If you're looking for a super easy to set up single coil RTA, then I reckon it's worth consideration. www.fasttech.com/products/6245701

Nice one Perpetua , really pleased you like it. I certainly do. Have not used mine for awhile so must try it with my new flat SS wire - a little project for a lazy Sunday afternoon The possibilities are endless beedee with the airflow options, although for now I'll stick with something more basic, which is exactly what I've been after . . . . although I'm not ruling out an adventurous build as one of the gents over the common has made me some fancy coils, which I think I can fit easily enough in this.

Go for the adventurous, Perpetua, provided your original coil is robust enough and you are careful getting it out, you can always put it back in. I felt like doing something out of the ordinary so ended up putting some new flat Kanthal wire in mine - first time I've tried it. Did a 4mm with 6 wraps (I don't usually go that wide...) , comes out at 0.58ohm, vaping it at 30w and its a flavour monster! Funny because I tried flat wire a while ago and didn't like it - am becoming a big fan now...

I'll jog on as I am for the moment beedee savouring my success if nothing else, got enough cloud chuckers on the go currently and I'm hoping to cut back on the amount of window cleaning I have to do!

LOL glad to see you coming over to the bright side at last. I too tried out some of the early rebuildables with god knows what gauge of Nichrome wire, silica wick and all the wrong tools (before I got my specs too). Nearly drove myself mad fiddling around, shorting batteries and generally not getting a good vape. After a few years on cartos and stock coil clearos, got fed up with the shifting sands of new improved version x with incompatible coils and started recoiling my own then moved into cheap clone RTAs. Second time around it seems a lot easier and it certainly is a lot cheaper. Plus you can tune your coil to the vape you want.

LOL glad to see you coming over to the bright side at last. Time, the inclination and a challenging rescue dog play a big part as to why I don't dabble much in rebuildables Dom . . . . if they were all this straightforward! So I can't see me ever abandoning tanks with stock coils completely for now. But this success, erasing some of the frustrating rebuilding memories has gone a long way in the encouragement stakes. Fagsareus if you can lung hit this one is good This is what got me started on it ......it's all Perpetua ' s fault It normally is Fagsareus !
