I'm really quite excited to receive it must admit beedee . . . . and I'm philosophical about the GB deal, while I would probably have bought it in preference to FT's as it would have sufficed me, the YFTK's does have an Evolv chip. Such is the nature of deals, I've had more than enough over the years on equipment, so no complaints from me.
For simplicity's sake, let us both hold decoy responsible. whoa hang on a minute im starting to feel like this place is home/work why is everything my fault lol Not everything, decoy, for example, I've always said it's sydsut's fault I contracted shinyitus and Perpetua's fault I spend so much on concentrates. I reckon it's my fault that pyr0 got tempted!

The SXK Vapeshell from FT arrived this morning but i've had to put in a complaint/support ticket The two halves don't line up quite right and the airflow inserts are really loose and fall out if held upside down Perhaps I should have just ordered from naturevape instead

I had an authentic pyr0 and the airflow reducers are a loose fit by design. The instructions state that a small amount of eliquid needs to be applied to the pin before assembly and then it will stay in place. The Vapeshell half’s only fit together one way so try turning the top half 180 degrees around as the positive insulator you can see on one corner fits only in a specific corner of the top case. The authentic had logos on the fronts of both parts to make sure they were assembled correctly. Give this a go as it may solve your issues that I also encountered with the authentic.

Thanks shiny Putting a drop of liquid on the airflow reducer does seem to keep it in place. I was just a little worried about it touching the coils. Rotating the top section 180 degrees is also a little better but it's still offset slightly. I wish I'd brought my BB, wire/wick and juice with me to work lol

The raised plastic insulator may just need a bit of wearing in to get a flush fit of the two half’s. Originally I has to push the two half’s together with a firm push to get a “click” fit but after a while they went together smoothly. Anyway pyr0 glad I was of some help to you.

It seems to work quite well, but I'd prefer some smaller airflow inserts. 2mm still seems too airy for me and the airflow control ring is rubbish. [Edit] Rmoved the airflow ring. Used the largest vapeshell airflow restrictor and inserted a kayfun restrictor into that. Nice MTL draw

I would definitely recommend the vapeshell to anyone who has a billet box, they are very easy to build on and come with 4 different airflow reducers, and the 2 that I've got are delivering a very flavourful vape for me. I have one, but It didn't gain my heart. I like the Exo better, even the doggy, wich build you made? I make 7 wraps, 2.3mm diameter, .9/1 ohm.

I used 0.3mm Kanthal, 8 wraps and 2mm diameter, comes out at 1.89 ohms, and even though I agree that the exocet is a great atty I still prefer the vapeshell for building on and flavour for me. But we are a varied lot in the vaping world and not all suits everyone, and so I think we are extremely lucky that we are spoilt with the amount of different atty's we can pick and choose from.

Stuck a coil in it, was preparing meself for a bit of a let down (dont believe the hype) hate to have to say it 'game changer'. As good a vape as my favourite RTAs, most impressed.
