Kayfun Lite Chimney Barrel Assembly
While I had the Kayfun apart I remembered an older post I had made regarding the correct way to assemble the barrel section of the chimney and thought it would be useful repeating here. Take a close look at both ends of the inside threads of the barrel section and you will notice (on the authentic) that one end has a bevel. This end needs to be screwed onto the deck as it allows the liquid to flow freely along the juice channels. The other end which has the threads running all the way to the top will then have the chimney cap screwed onto it. This was engineered by design into the original Kayfun Lite/Lite Plus but unfortunately the barrel was not marked in anyway and the correct orientation omitted from the instructions.

Very welcome shiny . . . . I don't mind appearing to be a Kayfun Fan Girl.
( Something I've never bought, must admit. Give me time! )
