Good...
Hold the battery so that your thumb rests comfortably on the button or forefinger. I use the thumb. Then press as you start to vape and you'll find that it soon becomes natural..

Pressing it 3 times doesn't seem to be doing anything. I need to press once while vaping then let go afterwards. Maybe it's a slightly different design to the ones you peeps have got. I can see that if something in my pocket or bag pressed against the button, it would come on as there's no way of locking it.

to turn on the battery some require 3 presse then the light will flash and go to on mode, some batts require 5 presses, to vape you hold down the button constantly while you are sucking on it, and then release when you take it out of your mouth.

Oh, I'm sorry Poppsie, that was my fault for not explaining things properly Oh Chrissie don't be daft. It's obviously a bit different to yours so how were you supposed to know! I'll have a word with the supplier on Monday to see what he says cos the way it is, something could accidentally press the button in while it's in my bag. No need to be sorry. xx

Yes Chrissie, that's the one - just tried pressing 5 times quickly and that's locking and unlocking it - hooray. Thanks guys.
EDIT - it's taking about 10 presses to unlock it! in fact, that just took 21 presses to unlock it!!!

Don't do it too rapidly Poopsie..
Make it a slow measured three or five clicks..I am pretty sure RIVA's are three clicks..

The other battery is just the same Chrissy - they're both locking at 5 (quick presses) and unlocking at much more....

Don't worry guys, I'll practise with it over the weekend and if they are still the same, I'll have a quick word with supplier on Monday. Apart from that - it seems great Thanks for all your help - must take my doggie for a walk now!

I've never heard of that happening before Poppsie Have you tried what Macca suggested - slower, measured clicks?

With one of my batteries if I click say 4 times then don't get the timing right for the 5th click i have to start the 5 click process again.
I have a 3 click bat that I'm forever accidentally switching of when using it, i thought that was broken at first!
