Hi
For nearly two years I have used Rivas (from the same supplier) and they have been great. However, my two most recent ones have decided to play silly buggers while charging up.
The light turns green after about an hour and in order to get them fully charged, I turn the charger off, unscrew them, then reconnect and they start to charge again (red light showing) . This happens 2 or 3 times during the charging process. I've tried different cables but it still happens. Once they are charged, they are fine.
I clean all connections regularly.
Anyone had a similar thing or any idea why this happens?
Thanks

This made me chuckle too (sorry). Old people can be a pain in the ass, bless 'em. I chuckled too yesterday because I've converted an oldie apparently! Attended docs just before Xmas for routine blood tests. The nurse asked what was hanging round my neck (only a Kanger in a leather lanyard). Gave her chapter and verse about vaping (not to mention where I get my gear from - Vapourtine and Vape Escape take note he,he). She said she would buy a kit for her Mum. Saw the same nurse yesterday. She got a kit and juices for her Mum, for Xmas. Mum loves it and hasn't had a cig since!!

Hi all You'll probably think "duh, that's the way it should be" but I'm new to the Novas and have a question. On the left we have a Nova bought a few weeks ago, fitted to a Riva. On the right, one which arrived today from a different vendor and also fitted to a Riva. I don't think the new one looks right - if you look at the left picture (arrowed) you will see there appears to be two metal rings and it fits tightly over the battery. On the left, it screws into the inside of the battery leaving a big space and it looks as if part of the Nova is missing. I haven't tried it yet in case I need to return it. I emailed the vendor this morning but not received a response yet. As I say, it might be normal but I don't know so your help would be great, thanks. (Sorry for the BIG pic).

Thanks for the replies everyone and for the link to ECig Cabin. Had a good look on there and found some different colour batteries so just ordered. Thanks again.

Hi all
I've been getting my Riva 1100 batteries from the same vendor for over a year now. The only gripe I have is that he only ever seems to have the pink ones in stock and I prefer the steel coloured ones, but they are always out of stock.
I've been looking on the net for an alternative supplier and came across a vendor called ECigs Outlet. I can't see them on the Vendors Board so was just wondering if anyone has used them before and can vouch for them.
Or if anyone can recommend a trusted supplier of these batteries it would be appreciated. (I have been using Vape Escape who are excellent but just so fed up of pink batteries).
Thanks a lot.

The Best Invention Ever. It's been 15 months now (apart from a few stinkies last July, nuff said). I NEVER crave for a "real" cig and having clothes and hair that don't wreak of smoke is a delight. Yup, being free of the weed is pretty darn good. Just need an alternative for the other bad habit now......

If you get a new one you can swap bits out to see where the fault lies. [/quote] Good idea, I'll try that but will fill it with water first to see where it's coming from. Thanks.

Thanks guys.
It's not a new one but it was freshly washed and dried. All sealed up tightly (but not too tightly) and filled up to max level (not overfilled) so I can only assume the seals go after a while so maybe I need to try a new metal base? Until I know which part is faulty, I don't know which new part to fit or which parts to throw away.

(Hope I've posted this in the right place Mods)
Hi all
I'm using the Vision Ego Rainbow V3's (the rebuildable ones). I filled one up yesterday (not a new one) and left it for a couple of hours, standing upright. Came back to find it had completely drained and was empty. As it's rebuildable, what part do you think needs replacing? I'm guessing it could be the metal base. Any ideas anyone. Thanks. (I'm also guessing that if a carto leaks, the problem lies with the seal ,but I could be wrong. Over to you experienced vapourers..................

Thanks for your replies. It might be worth vaping in another room in future to see if that makes any difference. So many things can trigger an asthma attack, I hope vaping isn't one of them for my OH.

Hi all
Would like to pick your brains a little, if I may.
I have been vaping for ten months now (love it and don't smoke normal fags at all any more). When I did smoke the dreaded weed, it was always outside, never in the house.
Now that I am vaping, I'm vaping inside our home.
My OH has had very, very mild asthma for a few years but since last July it has been much more severe.
We are now both wondering if the vapour has made his condition worse.
Anyone with an OH who has asthma which has worsened since you've been vaping inside?
Thanks all.

get a shoe box, write a poem about being 40 and buy some little gifts to open as she reads that match the poem ( e.g. if the third verse is about needing to look her best at the end would be ( open present three) ) and present 3 would be a tube of polygonal, not all have to be . cheeky. I've done a few for people in past and all go down well oops polygonal = Pollyfilla Love this, but if I gave her a tube of Pollyfilla, I know where she would stick it Thanks everyone for your ideas, I've got something in mind but not 100% sure just yet.

Some time ago i remember seeing reprinted newspapers of the day a person was born being sold as birthday presents. I reckon i would like that. Ooo, now there's an idea. Actually, my brother got me one of those a couple of years ago. It was very interesting to say the least. I found out that the Bounty Bar is as old as me LOL Thanks everyone - keep 'em coming.
