Evening each, Whilst DIY mixing is probably my vaping highlight (as close to Breaking Bad as I would want to be....) and I've tried a few more nice one-shots recently, I think my mixing has reached a bit of an impasse again. Can't get the right mix for adding WS-23 and WS-5 still, bought too many concentrates with "ice" in the name and they aren't icy, a few other things have been a bit wishy-washy, haven't got the patience to do 0.0000475% single flavour mixes etc So, tonight I thought "go old skool" Mixed up 15% Yummy range "Mint menthol" at 15%, 2% WS-23 and 1% WS-5......and.....very nice too So, maybe the moral is sometimes simple can be best?

I agree that sometimes it can be. I'm vaping a custard right now with only 3 or 4 flavours and it's the best custard ever 😊

Amen to that!
Fair play to anyone who creates something wonderous from a host of different flavours . . . . I just look at those type of recipes and think I couldn't be ar$ed searching for all those different concentrates in the accumulations in the first place.
Two, three, four . . . . is enough for me to create something enjoyable for my tastes and there's a number of concentrates that aren't technically oneshots I guess, but also work well as a single flavour mix.

I had 3 strawberry biscuity mixes that I liked. 3 or 4 flavourings in each. Getting low on all 3 I mixed them in equal parts. Result was better than any of the 3. So now I have a liquid with 10 flavourings

smifee - Good news that you now have a mega-mix Guess sorting those ratios for future might be a problem though?

smifee - Good news that you now have a mega-mix Guess sorting those ratios for future might be a problem though? With loadsa flavouring mixes I premix the flavourings in 50 or 100ml bottles and label the amount needed for 30mls.
No problem with ratios. All my recipes are on spreadsheets and I tend to use ingredients to 2 decimal places of percentages. Mostly ?.00 but the more flavourings the more I use under 1% amounts.
Really useful when using 'dreaded flavourings'. My main dreaded is Malted Milk which if I use it over 1% just tastes of

So, maybe the moral is sometimes simple can be best? Often true, ghostrider1971 , my favourite mix is a two flavour one (well, three if you count Koolada)
