Lovely stuff . . . . works well with liquorice, mints, menthol & certain fruits - you could also add a little to one of the concentrates that's in the post to you Clive.
A few ideas here, though I'd be tempted to pare back the Fluid ratios a little to make it more suitable for the better equipment we now use:

Certainly worth a try clivealive1 . . . . I'd also have a go at making some up, adding some Blackcurrant - maybe take the Absinthe and Anise back to 5% if you do.

Depends on which anise and which licorice, if one or both are pretty sweet it will balance out the bitterness of the Absinthe. As Perpetua suggested, fruits play well with the DV Absinthe - I love the Innawera Blackcurrant with it...

As Perpetua suggested, fruits play well with the DV Absinthe - I love the Innawera Blackcurrant with it...what levels of both ? Sorry clivealive1, I missed your question at the end. Depends on mix, there is this one - in which I'm thinking of reducing the BC by .5 or so: Black Cat 3.00% Blackcurrant (Innawera) 2.50% Absinthe (DV) 2.00% Anise (Innawera) 2.00% Pineapple (Golden) (Capella) 0.50% Polar Blast (Flavour Creative) My favourite mix is this one: Death in The Afternoon 5.00% Champagne (Flavour Arts) 3.40% Absinthe (DV) 3.00% Absythe CW (Cupcake World) 0.35% Koolada 5% (Perfumers Apprentice) For some reason, though the champagne is not sweet by itself, it does sweeten the absinthe. I've made loads of variations on this with different absinthe flavours including DV by itself @ around 7%.
